Comfortable for a one night stop over, but would not stay there again.
quiet, friendly and helpful staff, clean, breakfast with ecological products.
No elevator, but the staff is very helpful to carry the luggage upstairs
The hotel owners were very welcoming and helpful with ideas of places to visit. The ambiance was lovely and the decor was typically French. The bedroom was beautifully decorated with attention to detail and the breakfast room was lovely. The staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel as excellent value for money. It is a 5 minute walk to the main shopping precinct.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about this hotel.
the room was nice and clean, the forniture of the hotel, the small garden, the kindness of the staff, the chance to get a glutenfree breakfast, the various and rich breakfast
Pleasent meneger. Nice room, esthetice, clean and pleasent. Good location. T.v, airconditioner, good bed for sleeping.
Pretty decor of bedrooms and reception/breakfast room. Owner was lovely.
A very helpful and friendly staff, comfy bedroom, clean and tidy bedroom and bathroom. Excellent location.
The stairs are a bit small and old but that might be because of the age of the building, but is being taken a good care.

Lots of renovation work happening, which made the hotel very dusty. Rooms not the best, a guest lounge would have been great.
Charming hospitality, good location
Patchy complicated wi fii
Extremely helpful owner, a beautifully decorated room, spotlessly clean hotel, with a pretty rear courtyard. Owner allows guests to use kitchen facilities if they wish to heat up meals bought in town to eat in the courtyard. Very friendly, brought us a glass of wine to drink with our picnic. Well placed for modern city, (lovely illuminated square in front of the town hall) and about 20 minute walk to market and old city
Not hotelier's fault, but 1 euro tourist tax per night seems a bit steep.
The friendly and helpful staff, hotel situation in a quiet street near a beautiful park and walking distance to Gare de Tours. Healthy breakfast. Clean room and adequate ensuite.
Nothing to dislike, good value for money.
Family run hotel - undergoing some modernisation. Great location with easy walking to city centre. Welcoming hosts and excellent breakfast.
The location was great. Easy walk to everything and to train station.
I would describe it more as a B&B than a hotel. Room was comfortable, bathroom tiny, had to straddle toilet to sit on it. Wifi kept disconnecting and nobody interested. Dining area tiny and doubled as reception. I'm a 45 yr old female and was asked not to eat in my room. In saying all that it was cheap and served its purpose.
Comfortable room Good hot water and water pressure Clean Friendly staff Good room-darkening facilities Quiet Close to many restaurants and shopping areas
Stairs - but to be expected in old buildings in France
Location, quirky room
Stairs were a challenge with suitcase.
The staff are quite nice
A little bit far from the downtown.
Lovely B&B close to the historic part of the town. Very nice and helpful landlady. Renewed bathroom. Everything very clean.
the food, the peaceful surroundings and the pleasant and helpful manager and staff
the stairs to the second floor were a bit unstable but this seems to be under review as part of an upgrade
Location Reception service
Large comfrtable rooms which are alittle outdated but clean and comfrtable. Five minute walk from train station. Host was a nice guy and helpful. Wanted us to be comfortable.
We stayed on the top floor up a winding stairwell, three flights. Quite a climb with luggage or if you have health problems. Notify Frank the owner when booking and he will probably try to accomixate your needs. Top floor was very large for Europe though.
The room and garden were all I needed. The family who owns the bussines is very kind. Good wi-fi and clean
Sometimes the wooden stairs were a little noisy at night, but it kind of fits the atmosphere. a few blocks away from the old city
A charming Hotel near the historic centre of Tours and with parking! Distinct decor that suggests old French Hotel of the 50s but clean, comfy and in good nick. Good continental breakfast. Friendly owners.
Nothing. Renovation clearly going on but did not affect us. Our room was on top floor, some 3 flights up. No problem for us but might be for some (we left our large cases down stairs).
1. Very friendly staffs, they are quite nice and make you feel at home; 2.The building is quite traditional French building which make you feel you are really in France.
1.The decoration of the room is a bit old.
The size of bathroom, had to sit sideways on toilet( I am 5'6" ) !
Friendly and very helpful proprietor. recommended very good local restaurants and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was undergoing reparations but despite this the rooms were clean and comfortable and there was no noise or dust.
