The room was very spacious and the facilities good. However when we had phoned to confirm our reservation the hotel staff was very abrupt. Also when we arrived, the lady at reception was very abrupt. This was a shame as it was a lovely hotel in great city centre location Hotel staff - When we arrived, the lady at reception was very abrupt. She didn't look up when we came into the hotel and when she asked if we wanted breakfast she didn't make any eye contact atall. This was a shame as it was a lovely hotel, good facilities, great location.

Location convenient for town centre. Small garage (supplement). Functional bedroom and shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. Cheerful breakfast waitress. Unsmiling proprietors. Invitation to use piano in salon but pervading sense of gloom from reception would have made this impossible!

Vendome is a most interesting and attractive town. Hotel staff were most helpful, particularly when my colleague left his bag with passport etc. in a local restaurant, helping to contact owner out of hours, etc.

Made very welcome by the lady receptionist who allowed us to park our car in the Hotel garage. She actually came out and helped me manoeuvre into the limited free space. She recommended a restaurant which proved to be excellent choice. (Sited by the Loir with wonderful food and views). The Hotel was a little dated but ideal for us on our passing through stop. Excellent sevice from a very busy lady. Thank you

En plein centre ville à 2 pas de la zone piétonne et de ses restaurants, c'est un hôtel très calme avec un buffet de petit déjeuner bien achalendé. Il n'y a pas de restaurant à l'hôtel

Pas de personnel avant 8h du matin. Petit déjeuner a partir de 8 h 00, pas au niveau d'un 3 étoiles. Etablissemnt bruyant : canalisations, escalier. Accueil tout juste aimable.

Cet hôtel, bien placé, ne mérite pas ses 3 étoiles : plus personne au- delà de 22h ; que se passe-t-il si on a un besoin urgent de quelque chose ou d'une assistance ? Le fait de ne pouvoir proposer aucune collation, ni boisson en dehors du petit déjeuner n'est pas confortable pour les clients qui arrivent par le train. Pas de bouteille d'eau dans les chambres, ni mini-frigo ;sinon cambre correcte. La vue du 3è étage sur la ville et au loin sur le château est agréable et de ce côté là on bénéficie d'un calme appréciable.

Le rapport qualité /prix du petit déjeuner est largement au dessus du niveau (copieux ,varié,nappes blanches )d'un Novotel ou d'un Mercure,plus la gentillesse du service ....

1) Bien que l'hôtel accepte les chiens (avec supplément) nous avons appris a l'arrivée que ceux ci n'étaient pas admis au restaurant et que l'hotel ne sert pas en chambre, donc pas de petit déjeuner (pas de cafetière ni réfrigérateur dans la chambre) 2) aucun accueil ni sourire
