Location was fantastic, only 3 minute walk to gare de lyon station. The bed was also very comfortable and the staff helpful.
Room was quite small, was a bit hard to fit suitcases. Also the price, while good for Paris, was still quite high.
Location, very close to stations and restaurants super markets
rooms are too small cant even more around free if you have a big luggage, no proper wardrobe
Location, room was clean, the free wifi, good shower and towels, the room was quiet
The room was very small but this is typical for Paris in this price range. The choice of TV channels is limited.
location is nice
Character, close to train station, good location overall, real Paris neighbourhood, not touristic.
Sex shop with neon sign across the street.
Very supportive when we had a health emergency. Staff friendly, calm and available.
Near to station for me to catch train next day. Room very comfortable slept well and there was kettle in room nice breakfast and staff
Could not use wifi even though connected. Having to pay extra for breakfast but only because it is usually included in UK.
Clean, safe hotel within walking distance to Gare de Lyon station. Staff was ok. Seemed a little rushed in their responses to our questions, but not bad for what I had expected. Good base to catch some sleep and an early train in the morning.
Proximity to Gare de Lyon. Clean, attractive room, though not overly large. Large bathroom. Desk staff let us check in early (9:30) without our even asking.
It's very near the Gare de Lyon, which means it's convenient for travelers from the south as well as for getting to the airport. The furniture in the rooms and the Haussmann exterior are nice to look at.
It's near the Gare de Lyon, which means it's in a neighbourhood of noisy streets, cheap cafes and sex shops. The telephone didn't work at all. Lots of water came through the ceiling when the upstairs neighbour took a shower.
Location is just perfect. Rooms are rather spacious for Paris and nicely furnished
Room 703 was nice...windows in the bathroom. There were very clean in the room. The staff was very nice Lots of good places to eat nearby the hotel especially the place just few steps from the hotel
The breakfast could be better with fruit and more bread to choose between and not only white bread. The wifi did only work the 2 first days and not the last 3 days on the 7. floor
My room was very small -- as happens in Paris -- but it was beautifully furnished, probably recently and fairly expensively. Convenient location only steps from Gare de Lyon, Metro, and bus to airports -- best way to get there. I did not hear noise from this. This is certainly not the best neighborhood in Paris, but despite a couple of sex shops nearby, I did not consider it seedy or unsafe. Helpful staff.
I appreciated their having a computer in lobby, but it didn't work. Wifi in rooms worked.
Comfortable bed, soft pillows and lashings of hote water
No Wifi in bedroom
Large room for Paris, with decent decor, air conditioning, comfortable bed, clean and pleasant bathroom. Friendly reception staff. There is wifi in the rooms although it wasn't very fast - but better than 'common-only area' wifi! Very close to Gare de Lyon but make sure you come out of the right exit (Exit 1 is best). Generally quiet area. Helpful guide to Paris in the room when you arrive. Plenty of wall plugs.
2 sex shops nearby, but don't read too much into it - we didn't see any shady activity on a Friday or Saturday night. No room safe. No holder for toilet paper in bathroom (not a big deal, just strange).
Bathroom. Ridiculously small. Sit on toilet and knees jammed up against the wall.
great location. Definitely recommend it.
As the receptionist was assigning me a room, and handing me a key, I nicely asked, in french, if I could have a room with a good view, if possible. She waved her hands and said "it's on the 7th floor already!!" so I said ok ok. Then I was shocked as this lady receptionist mocks me for asking for a room with a view out loud (in french) to her colleague as I'm getting my luggage, 2 meters away from her. I was so shocked and said "I'm standing right here…" She didn't even care if I could hear her. ( turns out the room she gave me faces the court yard, with no view). The gentleman receptionist is very nice though. So is the cleaning staff.
location, personal, the touch to history
Great location - easy access to gare de Lyon and metro stop. Cafés and grocery stores nearby
The shower was tricky - a deep tub with no curtain and water went all over the floor. It would be very easy to slip and fall
Rooms are very quiet even in the central Paris. Hot and strong shower. Location is near Gare de Lyon and a local market. Easy to find. Lift is available to bring heavy baggage and you can leave to keep them after check-out for a while.
For taking a trip by train early in the morning, this was a great choice.
By 8 AM, the hot water was gone. Not OK!
Friendly and helpful staff Close to the station gare de Lyon
Room quite small Reception and breakfast room quite small
Easy walking distance from station. Bus close by 24 direct to Paris sight seeing areas. Some nice restaurants close by, both for breakfast and evening meals.
Air con poor. WiFi poor
Very convenient to Gare de Lyon, Staff very friendly ('sympa'), Small but well furnished in updated 'traditional' style, facilities not expensive, when hotel internet broke down receptionist lent me his own ipad to send a mail ! Excellent for 1-2 nights in transit.
Corridors dark (trad Parisian brown walls) because light sensors badly placed - leap of faith towards hallway. Not suited to those with poor balance or disability (marbled bathrooms)
we wanted somewhere close to the station as we would be arriving late at night and this was just what we needed. The room, on the 6th floor was comfortable and had the largest and lightest bathroon I have ever seen in a 3 star hotel in Paris. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful
