Clamart is a nice location and the hotel is conveniently located next to the restaurants and train station.

    No elevator

Location is convenient in a good neighborhood. The staff is polite, friendly but not really helpful. Breakfast is good with a combination of fresh baguette/butter and jam, fresh croissant and a 'continental' style buffet.

Our room was very small, the stairs narrow... There is no elevator. But all of this is generally normal in small hotels in and around Paris. The hotel had been 'modernized' according to the staff. What they meant was that the old windows were replaced with new double pane ones; new shower enclosures were installed and a coat of whatever paint was at hand slapped on. Plain white would have been a lot better! The rooms and bathrooms are not very clean. We stayed 4 days and every day, the toilet paper wasn't replenished. The shower and floor hadn't been cleaned once.

It is a very nice 2 star hotel with friendly staff, in a very good and safe location directly infront of bus 189 stop, daily cleaning the rooms, there is a supermarket nearby just 6 mins walk, and free wifi but with poor connection sometimes, the Clamart train station is 10 mins walk from the hotel and you could talk the clamart train to get to Montparnesse better than the bus

10 mins walk from the hotel to the clamart train station, else everything is good

Not far from Paris. The hotel itself is situated not far from the railway station. The hotel is pretty much clean, the heating works in a proper way. The staff is friendly.

    Not very modern.

Yes it was cheap but that's all. And nearby there this place that makes the most beautiful croissants.

It wasn't even in Paris! You take the metro to go to the last station, then taka the train to go in the middle of nowherr and then after you have to walk too much! It was also a dirty room with bugs and stuff.

Not much as there is nothing to see outside except road works.

The hotel is in zone 2 but to get there was by some kind of national rail line, absolutely not part of metro / underground or RER. You always have to change at Paris Monparnase before you can get a train you see on a metro map. As a tourist the hotel is a bit hard to find without internet and the price is not much different to those inside of Paris. I stayed in room 204 which is on 2nd floor - no lifts, and that had ants crawling on the table all the time and in the bathroom area. The staff were informed but he just said he get it cleaned but i think they don't realise there is an Ant House in my room? The free wifi requires reconnection every hour, unlike the Hotel F1 (part of the Accor chain of major hotel names, i.e. ibis).

it's clean, well situated : 5 minutes on foot from the raleway station, + 7 minutes by train to monparnass railway station ( it's already the center of paris). The are shops near the hotel (super u, boulangerie and so on). This is a calm et pleasant district. Breakfast is really good.

there is no air conditioning ( that can cause some problem in summer when it's hot and it was just my case), and it's a bit noisy (but it's a frequent problem in Paris). But I was aware of it from the beginng so there was no unpleasant surprise for me.

Location, close to Paris centre, 10 minutes by train.

There is no elevator :) to the third floor.
