Great value for money. Handy for Metro. Lively bars. Lots of restaurants. Best to sleep with window shut as this is clubland and people wander the streets quite late. having said that, I'd still stay there again.

It was great value for money. Breakfast was included and it was fine. Bedroom small as expected in Paris but good, big bathroom. Very close to Metro. Lots of nice, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Montmartre. The pillow cases didn't look like they had been changed ! The hoteI is a bit away from the places we wanted to visit but near Metro. Didn't bother us about the obvious sex industry nearby but would not stay here with children because of this.

The room had been decorated relatively recently, but was a rather depressing dark brown! For the rate we also got breakfast included. The hotel was on a very dodgy street surrounded by strip clubs (even though it's located in the moulin rouge area of Paris, it's on one of the worse streets in the area) The bed was rather hard and uncomfortable. It was very noisy in the street outside, and as the walls in the hotel are also paper-thin, you can hear everyone in the neighbouring rooms, even if they're having a conversation at normal volume.. The bathroom was very small, but even worse, stank of urine!!

The hotel is situated near to place Pigalle, just in walking distance from Montmartre, sacre coeur and with the metro you can easily reach the main monuments. Staff in the hotel is very helpful, nice breakfast, the room was located in the 5th (last) floor. The room was more than we expected, nice furniture, modern furnishing, little but brand new bathroom, little romantic balcony. Bedsheets and towels are changed daily. All in all we had a very good impression and we'd definitely recommend it to friends. Exellent value for money. The hotel Victor Masse is located in the middle of the red light district that's why I wouldn't recommend it to families with little children. Sometimes the Street below was quite noisy so we were cowed to sleep with closed windows. The general condition of the hotel (elevator, corridors) is not the best, in addition the distance between the two opposite rooms is barely 50 cm, two adult persons cannot walk at the same time. Consequently we could here every little noise of our neighbours. Continental Breakfast is always the same, without fresh fruits.

The room was confortable the bath room also the breakfast buffet was ok acording hotel The hotel victor masse is in pigalle not in opera . I arrived at opera in the bus from airport thinking that the hotel I have booked was in the area but I have to take a taxi and I have to pay eur 11 to arrived hotel . pigalle also is very different zone from opera, there are a lot porno shops, dancing cabarets, and it is not convenient when returned to the hotel late at night .to much noise in the street during the night definitively I ll never come back

A very friendly staff and a decent clean room with a spacious bathroom. Our towels were changed daily and our room cleaned. The hotel is very close to a metro station. You get your money's worth! It's a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights from the streets bellow. The breakfast is ok in quality and quantity but only has sweet things and nothing salty.

As regular visitors to Paris, we are always keen to find a clean, comfortable, value-for-money and well-located hotel in central Paris. The Hotel Victor Masse is all these things. The friendly people at reception and the good breakfasts only add to the pleasure. Highly recommended. No complaints.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Victor Masse. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We normally have a large room but the hotel is being refurbished and this time the room was quite small but adequate and had just been redecorated. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is continental with plenty of croissants, cereals, etc.The proprieters are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very near to the metro station and bars and restaurants.

İt was clean and the room was big enough. The night stuff of the hotel who was at the reception desk was not very friendly and helpfull. It was about 10 pm when we arived the hotel and rainy day. İ phoned the desk and asked for help about the location of Victor Masse. İ was at the pigale metro station later I discoverd taht it was really close. But the guy at the desk said he con not help me he advice me to ask people. And only said go to the city centre. And it took almost half an hour for me to reach the hotel. And when we reached the hotel the desk man laughed and said why it took so long to reach here its very close. Taht was not really helpfull. Next time I may not chose this hotel to stay probably.

it's near to Moulin Rouge. There are so many places to go. Not so far to the center of the city like 20 min on foot. In the night I could hear every car or somebody's talk from the street, every door opening etc

It's not far from main attractions from Mulen Rouge, Laffayete gallery,Grand Opera and Louvre but it's seemed to be situated in red light district of Paris Bathroom wasn't bad and there was hairdryer. The staff wasn't very responsive. Most of them. But some of them were very polite. Room service is awful - and we twice asked shower gels because they hadn't be renewed. Dirty towels and so on. Great audibility. So poor and untasty breakfast. Everything in the hotel is very old except bathroom the last one is pretty nice. By the same price hotel of two stars in Nice is much much much better then this one. I will not return in this hotel when my next visit to Paris will be. But in general you can stay there for a while if you are not pretentious and have low budget.

Room was of a fair size considering Paris standards and very clean. Bathroom was quite small but clean and newly refurbished. We stayed on new year eve and I was very surprised to find out out room being completely cleaned on January 1st. Breakfast was quite basic but was ok for the money charged for. There is a couple of parkings nearby and we were lucky to get a spot just next to hotel. That was good value for money. Double bed was quite funny as you would expect a single double mattress, and not two singles

Ideal location though in an area that some travellers might consider unattractive (sex shops etc). Clean hotel, management very helpful, refurbishment is ongoing. Breakfast adequate for visitors on the move. Some of the decor is a bit knocked about but the essentials are fine.

I like it!:) it's rahter convinient for sightseeing. We took metro just once and just because we wanted to see the metro)) But if you don't like to go on foot for the whole day and would like to reach the Luvre for 5-10 minutes choose hotel in the 1st district. Location of this hotel gives you possibility too see real Paris life:) Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, breakfast is basic and good. For me and mom it was more that enough. Bad noise isulation but it's 2 stars in Europe:) you have to accept it.

Hotel is situated near many attractions. Metro station is also very close. Price is reasonable comparing to other similar hotels in Paris. Rooms are not very comfortable, and also sound isolation is very poor (if any).

The staff was ok and helpful, the area is also a good one, despite the fame of this red district - close to important sites of the city and easy to go by metro to others (Louvre, Notre-Dame, etc). The room was cleaned every day. The price was not worth the room - it looked kind of old, depressing, it was good because we stayed there just for sleep, but even so it did not worth 98 euro/night. They should renovate the rooms, change the furniture, the sheets. The breakfast was typically french - croissant, cofee, cereales...

We stayed 7 nights. Excellent value for money @ 75 euro a night. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is good considering it being a continental breakfast. Location is great if you land at cdg. Close to subway. Will take you anywhere central in 15 min. Walking distance to Opera and Butte Montemartre. They charged 3.50 for a safety deposit box per night. Kind of expensive for a whole week. Should be 5-10 per stay or merely a deposit.

In general I think its good value for money. Room is quite spacious and clean, bathroom is really nice but a bit small. The lightning in the room is really poor, you cant really read books or study maps. The breakfast gets boring if you are staying more days. On friday nights the district gets really noisy, the rooms are not well sound isolated.
