The location is very good.
The room I was in was not very good. Although there were better rooms as my friends also had a double with a lot more light due to larger windows.
Excellent classic double july 2014
Poor double smallest room by far july 2013
Great location for seeing Paris. Just around the corner champs de élysées. Clean and presentable. Reception staff very helpful.
We had connecting rooms which we asked for but unfortunately the connecting door was locked no we were told there wasn't a key!
Location, renovated rooms, boiler and refrigerator in the room, coffee & tea bags available, conformable bath.
Tiny elevators. Phone in the room was not activated for outgoing calls.
Clean, safe neighborhood
at the next to the last stop on the Metro line
Location location location
Excellent location. Very clean and fresh reception area. Traditional bedroom and comfortable bed. On 8th floor so super view across paris.Good selection at breakfast.
Room quite small and bed only 4'6".
very good location, comfortable beds & free Wifi
staff not overly communicative, breakfast a little disorganised
The location was great, just 1km (more or less) from Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The staff is great and willing to help at any time
The internet connection is very slow
Tiny room far too small.

Great location nice bathroom Helpful staff
Room was a little grubby looking - mainly due to wallpaper. Very small room but normal for Paris I believe. Not having a restaurant.
We liked the feeling of staying in a less touristy area. The short walk to some nice restaurants. The short walk to two different Metropol stations. The bathroom in our room. The bedroom was spacious.
The foyer, breakfast area and bar area were- 'cold' and felt as an unfriendly place to be. We think the ground floor of the hotel is more like three stars. It is not nice to stare straight into the breakfast area when you enter the foyer and it is drafty! The breakfast is very basic considering what we paid for the room. The bar area should be more sheltered from the main entrance to avoid the draft, noise and people staring at you. The hotel room was dark. It was a 50th birthday present to my wife and we informed about this when we booked online and asked for a room with a nice view. Not sure if anyone read that message? The decor in the common areas is dated and worn. We paid for a superior room and felt in general that we did not get value for money.
Very good Breakfast and it was included, the location was very convenient
Rooms are small and smell like paint. Got an allergic reaktion when I was inside. No info on webpage ot booking.com that they are renovating.
Close to place Victor Hugo
Decoration of rooms and lack of lamps
Neither Booking.com nor the Hotel itself gave any indication on their websites that the hotel is being renovated which meant that there was no beakfast room available and the ground floor was filled with building material.
Great location, kind staff.
There was renovation at the hotel causing noises. And the restaurant was closed. This was not mentioned in the site at the reservation stage.
Rather central location.
Hotel is in the process of renovation. Planning of rooms is horrible. Value for money is close to zero, IMHO. Not recommended to anyone. Look at the booking ratio, always. Consider France.
Good value & friendly hotel in a convenient location.
location staff very helpful good newspapers and magazines
room very small but I think this is standard for Paris.
A charming hotel with all the comfort you need in a convenient location.
Breakfast was on the expensive side.
I had an issue regarding my reservation, first of all they did not accept the credit card i booked with and they charged me with another credit card. Although the same credit card I use always when I travel and I booked the airplane ticket with. Second, I extended my stay at the hotel for another 4 nights in addition to the 5 nights I already stayed there, they charged me with a different rate and when I had to leave earlier, they did not compensate my early leave before 3 nights and did not refund my money. Moreover I asked them if I could get a promotion since I am a frequent traveler and I can use these 3 nights at some other time when I come back to Paris, they did not accept and did not help at all. I already sent them an email and they replied back saying that they refuse.
Staff are very helpful. Assiist direction and others everytime I I need. They also try to accomodate ealry check in and keep me updated whethere the rrom is ready/not ready.
situation centrale proche transports publics calme
