Hotel Victoria Lyon Perrache Confluence  

The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful, great location very close to tram and metro and walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Across the road is George's Brasserie a great place to eat.

The only down side is the metro station is also where the homeless congregate and can be a little off putting but you can go up through the main station to avoid them. There was nothing I didn't love about the hotel.

Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was under renovation so the lifts weren't working, and there was construction protection on the flooring, detracting somewhat from the hotel's appearance. But I presume this will be a short term issue.

great location, right next to Parrache train station, easy to find... reasonably sized room & comfortable bed

bathroom was a let-down, kind of bathroom you would find on a airplane or the portables on festivals...

The hotel was very close to the city center so it was easy to go everywhere from there and also it was 1 min walk from the train/metro station. It was very clean and the stuff was very helpful! Also you could buy coffee/tea for 1.5 euro

The breakfast was a bit expensive.

the hotel is conveniently located right next to Perrache train station, very clean room, nice design, and a comfortable double bed. i traveled alone so it was the perfect place for me. the center is withing walking distance about 10-15 min on foot. alternatively, you can use the subway station at Perrache.

the rooms are a bit small especially if you are two people staying together and have luggage. i only had a backpack so it was ok for me. my bathroom was also tiny.

Hotel Victoria is a typical quaint french city hotel,small but interesting. Very clean and slightly sitting in history. The breakfasts are over priced slightly. 6 euros for 2 small croisants and coffee

Friendl staff, comfortable although small room. Close to shopping and arts. Real close to transportation.

If you wanna be a Pablo, you got a nice choice. Catching a spider and some unknown insects always be an interesting activity in the room. Super small size room so could stick well with your lover.

We found several big spiders in the room, so ask staff to change our room. However, they rejected to change a room even we know other rooms were vacant. One old croissant provided for breakfast.

Good value, quiet (at the time I was staying there), comfortable (although obviously with no trimmings), helpful staff, excellent location.

Two small things: - having to leave your key at reception each time you went out is a rather dated practice and was somewhat irritating, even though reception was permanently manned - breakfast was a strange mixture of self-sevice (you got your own coffee, cereal etc.) and table service (a plate was brought to you, once you had sat down, with a croissant and pain au chocolat included). I gather, in fact, that breakfast arrangements are to be enhanced in the near future!

Great location near the train station. Good value, with great buffet breakfast included in the price. And, amazing free mini-bar. Staff attentive and helpful.

Convenient location in quiet area.

The double bed occupied most of the space in the room, making personal movement and luggage storage difficult. Cramped bathroom "pod". Poor breakfast in depressing surroundings. I stayed two nights and was pleased that I had paid for only one breakfast in advance. I easily found better quality and value in the city.

the room is very small, everything seems quite old and out dated.

Good location and near the sea. Useful and friendly front desk. Kind staff Clean and useful facilities.

Toilet is too small. If you want to have a shower you need to pass a narrow way to it. And as it's near to the centre, there should be a little noisy in the night. Anyway, for the price, it's quite good.

I woke up in the morning and saw tens of ants beside my bed!

The room was spacious, location is close to the city center. There is railway station near the hotel. Across the street there is a very good restaurant.

Despite of the fact that they shouldn't take a pre-payment for the room (it is written in the booking) they blocked an amount from our card for a month. The bathroom is very small, there isn't hairdryer.

Nous connaissons l'hôtel Victoria depuis un certain nombre d'années et chaque fois que nous allons à Lyon pour le plaisir nous retournons dans cet hôtel parce que nous le trouvons très bien. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Il faudrait plus d'oreiller sur le lit ou des coussins plus durs.
