Very good place.
The shower was broken.
Location breakfast value for money very friendly staff and owner helpfull
The hotel is pretty basic, but that is what you expect from a one star. The staff were good, but what was great for me was the location, good night life with reasonably priced bars, restaurants bakeries and twenty minutes walking from les Halles.
nice clean cheap place , very close to metro,
location is down a alleyway would be dangerous if planning to go alone
excellent location, you could go everywhere on foot. Very cheap for this location.
not very clean, drunk guys all over the street at night.. bad neighbourhood
Courtesy and welcome on checkin
they don't even provide water to drink
Location is fantastic, mr Galou is delightful.
the night staff (reception) was one of the non-friendly person whom I have ever met in my whole life! He also asked me and and tried to forced me (by serious discussion and putting me under pressure) to pay money with my other bank card or cash and he didn't listen to my explanation that I have already gave my visa card information via your website. When I told him that I want to talk to somebody else, it was then that he charged me via the information that I have already sent to you and he had all in the printed paper. Besides, the sheets were not fresh and were stinky and inside beds were full of hairs...
- Location is close to the Gare Du Nord station and close to a metro. - Breakfast was fresh croissants with butter & jam, orange juice, hot drink and a massive loaf of bread which was very soft. - I was in room 402 and my wifi connection was great. - Shower water was really warm - Hotel staff were very friendly and allowed us to keep our bags after we checked out.
- Area is a bit rough, a lot of pick-pocketers and dodgy people. I went with another female but we pretty much was out all day and only came back to sleep. We bumped into the local policemen for directions and they mentioned this area is the highest pick-pocketers so to be careful. - The building has some fuse issues, it burst the fuse of my UK converter and then I had to borrow the hotels and same thing- the fuse burst. So be careful with iPhone chargers etc...
I spent only one night in this hotel and I had a single room with a shared bathroom. Actually, I was positively surprised (because I was a bit sceptic about a shared bathroom...). There was a sink in my room; the toilet and the shower were just in front of my room (one step to go). They were reasonably clean (although a bit shabby, but this's ok). Both in the evening and in the morning I did not have any problems to access the bathroom (I did not see anybody else using it). So that was absolutely fine. Concerning the location, the hotel is close to two metro stations, which is good; it is not directly on the big road, which slightly reduces the noise (although with an open window you can still hear all cars). And of course the price and free internet were big advantages!
For this price, I actually expected it to be worth :)
Location: close to two metro stations and bus to the center. Good access to the internet (free Wi-Fi). Hotel is a excellent value for money in Paris, if you travel on a budget!
It would be desirable to restore the towels. They were worn-out.
From the outside the hotel looks rather nice, with flower pots at the windows. The location within Paris is quite good. The property is close to Gare Du Nord Station - about 10 minutes to walk - and Strasbourg St Denis Metro - 1 minute walk. Having said that, it probably isn't in a location in which you would like to be walking around alone at night.
The owner/manager charged me more for the room than was quoted on the room rate poster inside the room. I questioned him about this and he came up with a number of different responses. He also refused to come to the room so I could show him what the poster said; he was "too busy" reading the newspaper! The bed was uncomfortable, especially the pillow, and I barely slept during my visit. The walls are also paper thin and you can hear all the comings and goings of the other guests, which didn't help. Cleanliness wasn't good, either in the shared bathroom/shower area or in my room. The hotel also does not have a lift, which could be problematic for some people, especially if you are on the third or fourth floor.
Nice people and good location! Got an upgrade for just 10,- per night extra. And normally it costs 25,- per night extra.
It could be a little bit cleaner! But is was fine.
owner hakim is very friendly but want the whole nights to pay cash.
othe other receptionists not good.
Excellent localizat ion. Just across the street there is a good supermarket. There is also two metro stations, two blocks away each. We needed to print our tickets there and it was also possible. The room had a window to the front of the building, very pleasant . The neighborhood is also good, we came late and left early with no problems.
I would not recommend to accept the maid service.
Comfortable bed and clean room
Noise outside on the streets
Metro station and kfc around the corner. Next to weav shops. Great
Hotel is located in the area of common people, bit away from the main tourist areas. most of the places to see in Paris are just walking distance away and metro station is almost at the side of the hotel. We got the attic room it was really nice.
The location just excellent y got all you need around very nice reception especially Mr kamel he make all efforts to make us feel at home very convenient an clean modern bathroom I am sure I will go there again thank you
The mattress not reall comfortable
only the location. Easy to move in the city centre by metro
the room was a double arranged for 3 persons. the toilet's basin didn' t work well, the carpet in the toilet was dirty. The No elevator to the 5th floor. Wi fi not working in the room but only in the small reception room.
only location was good
the hotel was quite old
We had the biggest room on the top floor (+ ensuite) and it was one of my favourite rooms in our trip through Europe, looking out across the rooftops. The sex shop district location (parallel to the mainroad) had 'character' but didn't feel unsafe, and walking home late was a breeze. great district through the day/early evening.
Bumping my head on the roof would usually be a downer, but the bare wood beans were part of the charm. Shower head needed fixing, but no big drama.
clean and quite comfortable, the room under the roof are big enough.
5th floor without elevator
