Character and great food!!
Value for money with charming true French experience. Fantastic location in a very interesting town. Restaurant was excellent and hotel staff lovely.
If you like a boring French hotel chain then don't go here.
Breakfast was poor value, not worth €8
Attractive and good friendly service.
Food standard was not up to expectations, poor flavour, ingredients and value for money. The first courses were obviously already on freezing cold plates in the fridge. Arrived too cold to taste anything! Although we were almost the first to arrive for dinner they had already run out of the main course dish we both wanted when we placed our orders.
Friendly and efficient staff in an atmospheric old hotel in a lovely old part of the city
Quaint, typical, small French Hotel
Wonderful town with lovely atmosphere. Hotel is romantic with its terrace in green. Very nice and complaisant young stuff. very good cooking and wine. Evening and breakfast on the terrace we like to remember.
The room is relatively small, not vry comfortable.
We have stayed here before and this time we stayed in the Superior Suite. Well worth the extra. Staff are always friendly. All the rooms are clean and comfortable. We love Ceret and always stay at the Hotel Vidal.
Nothing to dislike
The young man at reception was charming & very helpful. The hotel has an appealing 'shabby chic' vibe, with some stylish flourishes. Nice grape-vine covered terrace balcony for breakfasting on. Very central location.
Room was inexpensive, but really far too small to be described as a double - it was a small single room size, at best. Felt incredibly poky & claustrophobic. No shampoos or bottled supplied.
Charming Hotel in Fabulous location. Ceret is just lovely. Friendly family run business. We did not eat in the restaurant this time but have done so before and it is a great experience. Rooms are clean with a quirky charm. We booked a triple room which actually had 2 double beds and was a great space. Plenty of hot hot water. We have stayed before and will stay again. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike ...... A hair dryer would have been good but not a problem. Next time I'll remember to take mine.
This is a family run establishment offering a truly French village experience. This quirky hotel is what we were looking for-no bad taste 80's renovation here. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful while the atmosphere reflects the artistic history of ceret with the pictures and prints. It has an excellent and popular restaurant.
the place and rest. El Bisbe
bathroom far to little
Everything, it was fabulous. A delightful, traditional French hotel in the centre of a lovely town. Not a 'formula' hotel. Staff were ultra pleasant and took a pride in their hotel.
the food was excellent a real treat and the staff were really friendly
Wonderful location and welcoming staff - superb little town with so much atmosphere and the hotel is just marvellous.
Excellent position within walking distance of main car parks. Very good food Pleasant staff
Decor a bit tired
Ceret is a lovely town with interesting bars, restaurants and galleries including the Picasso museum
Don't expect modern luxury but the staff and restaurant more than make up for it!
Good restaurant, very friendly staff, great location - in August Ceret is buzzing every night.
Try to avoid small double rooms - they are a bit hot and pokey. If you can go for a triple even if two of you. Rooms overlooking verandah at back are quiet.
Location superb and central; the hotel has unusual charm and character; we loved it!
A bit noisy in the early mornings, as it's right in the market square...
Very typical French family run hotel. Staff great - full of charm and a classic elegance. Dont go if you want designer, mod - but we loved it.....
A shade noisy late at night.
the village was good location, doesn't take you too far off the main road, set in the heart of the village, the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water, a very good breakfast was served as well, everything you need for a one night stop over
we had a bit of trouble finding the hotel with our sat nav, but once found very pleased, parking was also not as expected but was close by as the village is small
