The Villa Arena hotel is situated on the seafront between Marseille and the Camargue region. It is a beautiful old building from 1650. You will be staying in one of the 19 air conditioned rooms of the hotel. Each one also has a telephone, a bathroom, a satellite TV and Wi-Fi access. The breakfast will be served on its outdoor terrace during the beautiful days and, in winter, around the fireplace. You will also have access to Wi-Fi connection and a free parking lot. Little and nice Carry le Rouet, the hotel is ok, free wireless, places for parking (something like: live the car there for free 2 hours, then mouve it, and after 3 hours you can park it again 2 hours for free, also free between 12-14..complicated, but all in all-ok). The rooms and bathroom are normal size, but it's only a 2 stars hotel, so you can't expect too much. No minibar in the room, our room had a back street wiew, not in front one, it would be nicer, but I don't know how to ask that.

Relaxed ccomfortable hotel with friendly efficient staff located conveniently for the beach and marina. The adjacent bar proved a suitable spot to meet up with friends for a drink prior to taking dinner around the port area. The atmosphere in the hotel throughout our stay was relaxed as required for our holiday stay. The shower was rather small for a 100kg person like myself.

Good location, the only good thing about this hotel. As you walk in to the hotel it seems quite nice and modern but as you go upstairs to the bedrooms you realise that all the money has been spent on the reception. Our room was worse than a travel lodge and the bathroom was even worse. We only had one door on the shower cubical which meant you flooded the bathroom when you showered and the wallpaper on the ceiling was peeling off. All hotels have their problems but there was no apology or acknowledgement of the issues with our room. The bathroom was not fit for guests.

Location near centre and station. Spacious and light room. Bathroom was cramped, moody and the doors of the shower cabin did not work. All in all a very shabby bathroom for the price of the room. Location also a little noisy near major road into village, but quiet at night though.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms & bed. Good location at city center. Corridor smelt of cigarettes & bath/shower had no screen.At night the main door was supposed to be locked by 9:30 but it wasn't.

Proximity to port, restaurants and station for taking train to Marseille. Seem to have taken on board previous comments about breakfasts - there was a buffet with adequate choice. Had expected more dedicated parking spaces, although there was a free carpark opposite which fortunately was not too busy in June.

Small hotel in nice coastal area. Hotel is closed after 21:00, but personnel is helpful with solutions for late arrivals. Airconditioning needs attention.

La situation de l'hotel non loin du port, hotel calme, personnel souriant et agréable. Salle de bain très moyenne, des traces de moisissures, petitesse de la chambre, confort à peine moyen.Aucune insonorisation des chambres.Petit déjeuner très cher pour une qualité très médiocre (pain et croissant décongelé).Pas toujours facile de trouver une place de parking, l'hotel ne dispose que de 3 places de parking.

On ne voit pas de photos des chambres qui n'ont rien à voir avec la belle deco du hall. Etonné de voir de la moisissure sur le mur de la salle de bain alors que nous sommes qu'en début de saison. Ni fait ni à faire!

Situé en plein centre-ville, petit vue sur le port de la chambre, chambre assez grande et bien meublé, S.D.B. bien equipé. Le tout dans un immeuble de standing Situated in the town centre with easy access to restaurants and the walk along the cliffs. View to the port from the room. The room was quite large and well equipped, the bathroom also well equipped. The hotel building is impressive from the exterior Aucun ascenser donc difficile pour les agés, seulement une poignée de places de stationment. On était un peu surpris de trouver le savon et le shampooing 'fait en Chine' No elevator makes things difficult for the elderly. Only a few parking places reserved for the hotel. One was a little surprised to find the soap and the shampoo 'made in China'

Très bon emplacement, près du port et des criques. Confort honorable et bon rapport qualité/ prix. On attendrait un petit dejeuner plus varié et plus raffiné pour le prix de 10 euros.
