we really enjoyed our stay at the Villathena. It was an ideal location for touring the city & shopping. The hotel was spotless & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I would definately recommend this hotel & will be back again on my next trip to Paris. We had breakfast included & it was delicious. our room was lovely & the bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in.

I am at this hotel for the second time. Location is good, staff is really very helpful (provide additional information upon requests about tours, restourants, trains, etc. Rather clean and quiet. Breakfast is good, but expensive. Good choice for 2-3 days in Paris for solo or a couple travelers. The room I booked previus time (standart) was absolutly small, that`s why this time I stay in the Executive. Non acceptable range of tv programms.

The location could not have been more perfect for getting to all tourist attractions/Shopping/ nightlife. The staff were lovely and helpful and upgraded the friends we were travelling with - without them asking.

The location of the hotel is really convenient for tourists who want to visit lot of places/monuments/museums. The only "negative" was the small room that was looking like more as a cabin of ferry boat. The free space to move was very small. Finally, another problem was the uncontrolable high temperature on the room, we had to open the window all the times.

The service was great and the room was very clean. Its' location, near the St Lazare Station and metro stations is ideal to visit Paris and places outside Paris. The street is not noisy despite the comments that I had read about the noise. The room was too small but I already knew that hotels in Paris have small rooms so this wasn't a surprise

Helpful and friendly staff. The room was very clean and warm. It came with everything you would expect from a 3-star hotel - tv with a dvd player, fridge, safe, etc. Convenient location - about 5 mins walk from the metro station. When we first arrived the receptionist could not find our booking so we had to wait for quite some time before we were given a room. Hairdryer didn't work properly. There were times that the tv received no signals. Apart from the above, everything was fine and this hotel is certainly a good value of money.

Close to Gare St Lazare and many metro lines. Close to Blvd. Hausman with shopping - Printemps and Gallerie Lafayette. Price for a "family room" was best I could find within Paris... Turned out to be two standard rooms with an extra door to disconnect them from the rest of the hallway. Staff were always very friendly.. And we asked them to do a lot for us. Not good for an extended stay (we stayed 9 nights) or business. No drawers and only a could small shelves to put your things - you have to live out of your suitcase. Room was small even for Paris standards. Only ~2 feet on any side of the bed to walk around / for your luggage. The desk was 1 foot deep and you have to sit on the bed to use it (there was no chair in the room). We were in a room at end of the hall and had to sit in the hallway to use wifi or go to lobby. We did not take their breakfast, but from what I saw, and from the nearby cafe's and pateseries... I would not reccomend it... The cafe 30 feet to the left was very friendly.

Very good space. The 2 connecting rooms offer good accommodation for a family of 4. The hotel aspire to a boutique hotel status but you can see it's been done with low-quality materials and fixtures. Would not be good value for money if one had to pay the official price.

Our room was quite spacious for a city hotel. Quiet location down a side- street. Easy walk to Monmartre and city shopping centre. Breakfast was in a corridor. Shower was in middle of bath and glass shower curtain was at the end. Almost impossible to avoid getting the bathroom floor and facilities completely soaked every time shower was used.

Proximity of the main boulevards of Paris and many Metro stations The fact that the rooms that are in Level 0, are so much near the noise of the breakfast area and the main entrance. You don't have the possibility to sleep anymore as of 7am

A little luxury in an overpriced Paris...maybe it was the time of the year (quieter October) but the room seemed well isolated in terms of sounds from the street / other rooms. The "petit déjeuner" staff was quite friendly even if we get there to close to the ending hour :) and it had a good variety of food. The only two things we didn't like was the "money for value" ratio and the bathroom door "arm killer" knob...

Stayed 3 nights. Located on a dirty small road, very very small executive rooms and Delux rooms. Dirty carpets, did not even provide enough soaps. Cost> 1800 euro for 3 nights for 2 rooms. Will never stay again. Pictures were very misleading. No chase in executive room unlike in the picture. Front desk is also very small.

All the staff we encountered spoke English which was a bonus being Canadian. They were also very helpful as far as giving us tips on booking a cab (which they actually did for us) to the airport upon our departure, for a better rate then we would have paid directly. Note of caution however, our cab ended up being 25 minutes late for pickup due to traffic delays of which there are many in Paris, so allow extra time! I cannot compare the regular rooms to others we stayed in in Paris which are typically very small but the executive room we booked was wonderful and quite spacious. The location is great too, being right around the corner from the train station and a few blocks away from the major shopping district. As far as hotel rates in Paris I guess it was reasonably priced but compared to the 1000 square foot suite we rented in northern France for the same rate, the Villathena seemed over priced.
