During the afternoon of the second day we saw a big bat in the room and when we have signaled it to the receptionist he said that we dreamed, we were drugs addicted or we took it from Italy! The staff did nothing in order to help us. During the same night we saw the bat again and decided to left the hotel (it was half past midnight). The receptionist (not the same of the afternoon) didn't apologize and debit us also the second night: we knew some days later, examinating the statement of account, that the first night was debited before our arrival without our agreement.

The location was excellent. Five minute walk to the Trocadero and another two minutes to the Eiffel Tower. We walked everywhere. Our room was recently redone and the bathroom was new. The room was small, but we only slept there so that did not matter to us. There was no air conditioning so it was quite warm the first night we stayed. Would not recommend staying in the heat of the summer.

Room is clean, all facilities working as appropriate, faulty lamp was replaced without my intervention, 5 min walk to Trokadero or Iena metro station - hotel doesn't offer the best value, but good value for money. The hotel is clearly for a budget travel and a bit run down on top of it. You may feel it in everything: cramped breakfast area (so best to walk to a near by brasserie), tiny lift, landing in front of lift is big enough for1 person to stay with his luggage, you can hear everything your neighbours do (though very likely they will be solo-travellers in a business trip and will not annoy you much). In other words - good value for money if your budget or choice are limited.

I luv the newly refurbished room! Very modern compared to the other small hotels. Did not expect it if one compares it to the old facade of the hotel. The hotel price should state whether the room comes with air con or not cause the room I had only had a fan and no airco

Breakfast was reasonable value for money Bathroom door wouldn't close. The toilet, basin and toilet roll holder were too close together to sit in comfort, a large person would not be able to use this bathroom. There was no tea or coffee making facility - this would be considered a basic and complimentory inclusion in any other hotel in any city in the world - very mean and very unwelcoming. Despite advertising as a no smoking hotel the rooms passageways and stairwell smell of cigarette smoke. The hotel is a fire trap - the lift is tiny and fire escape very narrow, dark, steep and dangerous - would be condemmed in any other city.

The location is excellent (especially for my business purposes). When arriving we had to wait 10 minutes before soeone should up at the recption to check us in.The relation quality price is lost. I stayed often in this place and he price used to be arround the 100 Euro which is about fair Howver for the currently asked 135 euros the rooms are too noisy and too basic. In addirtion the servuice is going down.

Nice decor, room well-equipped, good location. Unfortunately it was a very hot night when we stayed at the hotel and it was impossible to sleep, despite the hotel having placed a fan in our room. Opening the windows to get more air led to more light and noise - closing them meant an airless room. This hotel would be fine in cooler weather but would not be a recommendation from me during summer.

We had a wonderful stay- I was at first concerned when I read the reviews, but how wrong I was. The staff were friendly including the manager. The rooms have been newly refurbished. The rooms are not big but comfortable, that is what anyone visiting Paris should expect from any hotel. Most of the hotels is Paris have smaller rooms than other city. I would highly recommend this hotel, excellent location! The rooms on the 4th floor are slightly warm

I enjoyed the warm, cosy atmosphere and I was very impressed that although I had booked two single rooms for my friend and I we were given two double rooms with lots of room. I would definitely stay there next time I got to Paris.
