Small detail - We stayed in a triple room but only found 2 towels in the
bathroom. Knowing we would be 3 guests I was expecting to find 3 towels.
Not a massive deal, we just asked for another one.
The breakfast is outside on the patio/garden with a small gazebo and a floor standing heater. I'm sure it's lovely in the summer, but in the winter it gets quite cold, specially if it's raining (which it was!). If the hotel was fully booked I believe there would have been an issue with space inside the gazebo. I don't think there is an option for breakfast inside the building... I didn't see any breakfast rooms, so it would be an idea to ask!
Location was great! In front of the beach (no view from our room though)
lovely 20-25min walk to the old town (if it's not raining). In our
case it was pouring down all weekend.. So in this case uber taxi is your
best option - 5 Euros to the old town. Do not get fooled to take a taxi
on the street, it's a lot more expensive! We had to pay a minimum
fare of 15 Euros on Sunday from the old town to this hotel.
Wifi worked perfectly! not a problem.
Room was warm and cozy, staff was friendly! We stayed in a room just next to the reception so we didn't have to use any stairs up to go to our room.
Parking was super safe and cheap - 8 Euros a day - bargain! Other hotels I searched had a 25 Euros a day charge!! When you arrive ask the lovely man at the reception for the gate button. The gate is a few meters down the road on the right.
Would definitely stay here again, but this time in the summer so we can enjoy the beach!
Breakfast - nice and simple - tea or coffee, croissant, baguette, butter and jam. 6 euros per person per day.
