Great location. Good wifi. Small OK, not more, room but with nice bathroom.

Small room, weird mirrors

Well-located (central, but not on a busy street), small and charming hotel with a nice courtyard. As continental breakfasts go, the one here is generous. Good value for money.

Facilities could use some refurbishing. One of the buildings has no lift and a narrow staircase, so large pieces of luggage are difficult to bring up.

The location is awesome close to metro and restaurant. The hotel's decoration is vintage, I can feel the French there lol.

The surrounding sound was very annoying like sitting besides.

The kidness of the staff every moment U need them or even U dont! Thxs to the staff I recoverd my wallet with my ID and credits cards that I losted at the Nice Airport.... The staff is the hotel so the hotel is just a save, perfect place to stay, back and to suggest! Thxs for everithing! I just love Paris, the Villa Fenelon and the staff from Villa Fenelon!

Very small room, not very clean, not very fresh bed-clothes and towels, poor breakfast.

The room was dreadful and the general feeling was like it was abandoded. The pics on the site have nothing to do with that place. Awful!

We arrived after midnight because our plane was late. However, the staff waited and allowed to get in. The staff and Location were great.Its close to everything.

Coffee was not very good, but found most of France does not have very good coffee. Shower drain became blocked and overflowed.

The location is in the center and easy to go everywhere and metro just few mins walk. The staff is helping, the room is clean, and breakfast is included.

The stair is small, will be not easy for the people bring big suitcase.

Pleasant cosy atmosphere, staff , location

The staff were very helpful and the location was really good -- 2 blocks from Cadet Metro, about 15 min from the Louvre. The staff were kind enough to let me store my bags before check-in and afterward. The hotel was very nice, I thought, and my booking.com included breakfast, in my case, hot chocolate and 3-4 croissants. Very filling and pleasant. The hotel has a nice courtyard and breakfast eating area. A few people posting here have complained about the stairs. There's a little elevator in at least the part of the building where we stayed. In any case, walking up to the 5F should not be a big deal -- I'm 56 and carried my big pack up to our room.

Well, the 5th floor room was a little high, but not a big deal.

Room was clean, big bathroom, very polite staff, good breakfest. Near the metro station, good connection to the city center.

The Location of the hotel Metro stations close by Line 7 and 12..

Location is very convenient, easy access from 2 metrostations, just 5 minutes to walk. Direct metro line from Montparnasse Gare. Jsut few station to the center. Fast WiFi. Staff is frendly, speaks english. Upon arrival I received city map and instruction how to access most interesting sites to see. Shutl to the airport is very convenient.

Audibility is fantastic! You can hear every word told by your neighbors and every step up and down the stairs. The weather was cold and it was very cold in the room.

No buffet breakfast as said in the ad. But ok anyway. Plastic "protectioncovers" in bed -not good. Polyester sheet - not good. Too warm und uncomfortable.

1) Good location close to many restaurants, rue Cadet, a pedestrian street, the Passages, an off-street long only retail area of Paris, Foubourge Monmartre, an interesting old commercial street of Paris very active now. Also walk to Montmartre, Opéra, and Galleries LaFayette. 2) Walk to/from Gare du Nord with connections to airport. Cadet Metro stop very close. 3)Nice area of Paris somewhat off the beaten path. 4)The hotel has a nice patina to it. 5)The help serving petite dejeuner was pleasant and responsive. 6) Toilet and shower room was clean and new. 7) Petite dejeuner coffee and rolls were fresh and reasonable good quality.

1) Not a good policy or system about disturbing guests. If one wants to sleep late undisturbed, be sure to tell the front desk. We were concerned that a cleaning person or mechanic would come in unannounced, which happend three times. If up after noon, do not expect your room to be cleaned. (At most good Parisian hotels, guests are simply not disturbed if the key has been taken to the room. They do not believe in this policy at Fenelon.) 2) Walls are thin. Could here neighbors clearly. 3) Loud fan could be heard on fifth floor. 4) The rug in the room was old and did not convey a feeling of cleanliness. 5) Wifi codes must be re-entered every time you open your computer or hand held device (as opposed to entering the code one time like other service-oriented hotels in Paris). 6) For petit dejeuner, if you are looking for food with more protein and fewer carbohydrates like yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, you will not get it. 7) Shower head was purposely unattached to wall, encouraging a short and uncomfortable shower.

Needs renovation, little room and lift.

The whole room smell disgusting! The 3 nights in this hotel is nightmare to us. Every night, we just hoping the morning comes as soon as possible ,then we can run away from the bed and the hotel and enjoy fresh air outside of the hotel. The elevator is too small to let in 1 thin person, we are 4 person in total , each time to go upstairs is an unpleasant time.. The whole room, bed, pillow, blanket ,etc full of a strong ugly smell, and we ask for changing room but refused... We will never ever book this hotel again.

Good location. Easy going. All staff polite and helpful. Cute little lift to our 5th floor double room. Very small room but everything we needed. Would definitely recommend if you're budgeting and just need a decent room n nice breakfast.

Didn't like the fact that people in next room were smoking. It stand in our bathroom. Maybe fitting smoke detectors would stop happening.
