The personel of the hotel was super helpful and friendly. They even served us a welcome drink right at the first book in. The location of the hotel is so central, you can walk easily to old town within a few momets.
Perfect location, very friendly staff.
Poor breakfast, small rooms, not very clean, old furniture.
The location was fab! Close to restaurants, bars, clubs and beach. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check out later at no extra cost.
The shower was a bit hit and miss. Unfortunately the plughole would get clogged up and then as the dish wasn't that deep the water would overflow onto the floor.
location in old town, near restaurants, wine bars, little shops, cathedral etc.Chef very good and enjoyed the food and wine at dinner. Reception staff made every effort to give us info re busses, trains, how to get to places of interest etc. I have already recommended this hotel to friends who love france.
No lift I know the building is very old and unsuitable for a lift. Older travellers should ask for ground or ist floor bedroom
Location - very convenient for transport, restaurants. sights. Staff - friendliest staff of any hotel that we stayed in in France. Breakfast was excellent.
There's no lift/escalator - wouldn't want to be above the second floor! Our room was quite small but was comfortable. Stairs seems to be shabby. We would stay there again if in Nice.
Hotel is a bit run down. Our room 209 was dirty. The ceiling is falling down. We would not stay here again.
Minute walk to beach.Easy access to public transportation and parking lot. Good location.
Downstair bar is active till 2 at saturday night. Room is shaddy and small. Furnitures are old.
Its right in the middle of nice, close to everything, staff were extremely helpful and polite and spoke perfect English. The next time that I"m back in Nice I will definitely be staying there.
Room a bit dated, but this is no reason for not staying here as too many good points about this place to well outweigh one small thing.
Eva and all the staff made you feel at home! We only stayed one night, and would have loved to stay longer! Our view was beautiful from the room! Will definitely visit again! Best stay during our 12 days in France!
Fantastic location with great access to public transport. Very friendly staff and the MOST comfortable beds!
The room was small but that didn't cause any problems.
I had a reservation at Booking.com but it didn't be sent to them. Luckily there was an available room so that I didn't need look for the other place. They didn't clean our room at first morning! And when we asked them to change our towels, they turned down because they think it was too late! I never ever be treated in such a rude way!
The location was good and staff helpful.
There was so much 'stuff' in the room that there literally was no space to move around. It was bad enough for me on my own; two people sharing would have found it impossible. No lift and a very narrow stair made getting luggage upstairs hard work.
lovely staff, they spoke english and were very helpful. the hotel is in a convenient location in the old town and close to the beach. Onsite cafe and bar.Quiet of an evening.
This was a great find- affordable right in the center of Vieux Nice, walking distance to everything. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, we had a very nice time. We stayed for 2 nights on our honeymoon, and while the rooms and bathrooms are very tiny, and you have to walk up very narrow stairs, I highly recommend this place.
Staff were very helpful.
Could hardly get your luggage in the door. Balcony so small that 2 people could hardly fit on it. Toilet stank of urine.
Great location and really friendly staff
Room very small and expensive breakfast
VERY well situated! Loved the decor of the room, just very small! Will definitely return if ever in Nice again!
Great location near old town, close to,bus and tram, as well as restaurants, Helpful staff,
Could list down what tv stations are what, to save the laborious job of going through over 50 channels
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to assist us with any questions we had. We have many great day trips thanks to their advice! The location is ideal for 'old Nice' and the food at the restaurant was second to none, super delicious! I would definitely like to return again one day.
Our room was on the small side. If we had a bigger suitcase it wouldn't have fitted in. However, I saying that when you're holiday you're room is just somewhere to lay your head! Everything else was fantastic! Definitely recommend.
Amazing courteous staff, great food if you decide to dine there, rooms are really really adorable and are all unique. So much style! Will come back for sure. Yes there is no elevator - deal with it :) I asked for the highest floor I could get! Lovely views.
Convenience, staff friendliness and helpfulness
room could have been cleaner
The location is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The building has character. Quiet room. Good food.
Paid for a superior room but got a very small room with no balcony and a view of a back alley. Was disappointed with the cleanliness level of the bathroom, the shower was pretty dirty. Thought it was overpriced.
The management and staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Unfortunately, I wasn't well for a few days whilst I was there and the owners advised which pharmacy to go to to get the correct advice, and even bought me some Vichy water which apparently, helps Gout. I would definitely return and also recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Nice.
The only thing I would say is that there is no lift, and would advise any older people, depending on there fitness, is to request a room on the first floor.
Friendliness and location
No lift poor bathroom (grubby shower curtain) Cardboard bedside tables too small to use no wardrobe no drawers not as advertised
great location staff was extremely helpful quiet and very clean excellent food in the restaurant
the bed of our room was a little bit small
