The attention received the very first day I arrived to solve what I did not expect

The room assigned initially (last floor-no lift). But problem was expedioustly solved.

Good location, friendly staff, quaint.

Our room was very cold for several hours; it took a few attempts to get the heating to work. Other rooms we saw looked better than ours. Whilst the room was quaint, slightly sloping floor in old building, etc.., the bed also consequently sloped. Maybe they could address this, shorten one of the legs or something. If I was to recommend this it would be with a few reservations.

Location in the old city was perfect for me. Although the room was dated it had everything I required and the bathroom was immaculately clean. Excellent wi-fi connection

Great location. Located on one of the streets of Old Nice so you can walk around and see the entire Old Nice without any transportation. Very close to shops & restaurants therefore you can walk back home from dinners & nights outside. Also very close to one of the tram stations-also just four stops from the main train station. As there are more than one negativities about the hotel, you should not expect much-but the cleanliness of the room and the location are its best qualities which make it a place to be stayed at.

-The bed in our room had partially sunk before us, and it was not very comfortable. -There was no fridge/minibar in the room. We understand that the rooms are not so spacious but there was place for that in the room we stayed in, I think it can also be done for even smaller rooms somehow. -Breakfast is not included in the price, served for 12 euro per person. We had breakfast only once at the hotel, which is served in the lobby or the terrace outside the hotel by the way, there is not a seperate room for that. The problem with the breakfast was that it was not very clean. I saw some stains on the cup and wanted to change it, and the blonde receptionist told me I could pick up another one from the buffet. However all the other ones were also dirty so I had to wipe throughly the one I already had, and although the receptionist saw it there was no response to that-we thought they simply do not care about the cleanliness of their breakfast services. I also checked the other glasses and saw some stains at their bottoms as well. As a result we did not feel comfortable about the food as well. Therefore I would not recommend the breakfast; not good value for money & does not seem or feel clean.

The location in the middle of the Old Town was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful and you are surrounded by lots of lovely places to eat.

Location in a center of Vieux Nice (old city). The unique character of the hotel that was converted from old convent. Room and bathroom - fair size, nice design, clean. . Had a moment of second thought while dragging heavy luggage up on narrow stairs (no elevator) but once reached the room with cooling a/c, I knew that I picked up the right place. Great location to walk around town. Nice, friendly people. Definitely will go back there

Staff really made up for the fact that this is an average place in a good location. They were very friendly and helpful-they made the stay a pleasant one. We apparently had a superior room and paid more for it but our friends had a normal room and it looked and felt very similar to ours. No lift so left one of our bags downstairs-that was ok. The staff are very accommodating. Check out the little roof terrace-

A fabulous place to stay - we were only visiting one night as had other plans, but the receptionists were lovely and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are excellent value, it is well located, and when we'd made a mistake with our booking, they were quick to help put it right. Thankyou! This is how a hotel should be run!

The Hotel Villa La Tour is ideally located in a pedestrian area of Nice, along the bus line which take you to and fro the Airport. Great restaurants and shops are quite proximal to the hotel. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at every turn! Great recommendation for dinner! The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was well prepared and a great way to begin the day. We recommend the Hotel Villa La Tour to other. Nicely done Villa La Tour!

The room was very clean and the staff friendly. They made every effort to help us enjoy our stay.

The only concern was the noise in the street outside the hotel. Unfortunately this is beyond the control of the hotel.

We loved the location on the edge of old Nice since we could easily walk to attractions. Also it was easy to take the airport bus and get off near the bus station (that is currently gone and under construction) on Blvd Jean Jaure. We were a little unsure exactly where to find the hotel but it was a very short walk. It's a pedestrian street so you need to watch for Rue de la Tour sign on a building to indicate the street. We found the upgraded room cramped compared to what we are used to but we managed with the limited space. The price was very good and the staff extremely helpful to us in dealing with an airline problem. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel and instead opted to buy local pastries and coffee.

Just a little cramped. Also there is no elevator but we had asked staff to accommodate us on the 1st floor to limit the climbing.

Die sehr gute Lage mitten in der Altstadt von Nizza und das Flair des letztlich zwar einfachen aber stimmigen Hotels sind schon etwas besonderes. Schließlich wohnt man ja in einem ehemaligen Kloster, dessen Turm immer weit sichtbar ist (guter Orientierungspunkt :-) ) Das Rezeptionspersonal ist sehr freundlich und deutschsprachig. Wir hatten das traditionelle Doppelzimmer (205), dieses ist klein, zwckmäßig, aber gemütlich. Das Bad ist schön gekachelt und sauber, mit Dusche. Der fehlende Schrank hat uns nicht gestört für ein verlängertes Wochenende. Positiv ist auch die sehr gute Matraze hervorzuheben. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, nehmen dann für einen längeren Aufenthalt aber doch eines der größeren Zimmer. Für einen Wochenendtrip reicht aber wie gesagt das traditionelle Zimmer vollkommen.

Das Frühstück ist ok, für 12 Euro pro Person aber ausbaufähig.

Accueil très chaleureux, on est traité comme un VIP dès la 2ème visite. Service parfait pour le petit déjeuner
