Great location Easy access to 3 Metro stops Neighborhood full of specialty shops: cheese, butcher, fish, patisseries, restaurants from $-$$$ Lovely patio w fountain Quiet hidden garden with tables and chairs for relaxing or to sit for a meal served from the restaurant. We did NOT eat at the hotel rest. Too many other choices within easy walking distance. Safe neighborhood to walk in daytime and evening. Don't miss the Open Air Market on Wednesday.

This hotel is well and attractively designed and spotlessly clean perhaps with the professional business trip in mind. Is is ideally located and makes a very comfortable retreat after a day working or sightseeing in Paris. It is run by politely helpful professional staff. I ticked the honeymoon box with the pretty courtyard and proximity to the Luxemburg gardens and the nearby lively cafe life in mind.

The hotels location and the ease of public transport was excelent. For this price, the hotel is quite above the expectations. The fact that it is a singular building with a nice open entry area and a back garder for chilling. I would reccoment it to anyone who is looking for an unexpensive but quality service

More attention could be paid to general cleaning of the rooms. There was a very small amount of smell in the rooms that went away as soon as you opened a window, and the cleaning staff seemed a little careless although they did everything as neccesary. The elevators definitely need more maintenence as well, we never had any sirious issues but they kept making funny errors.

Good location, lots of nice little restaurants and shops near by - real Parisian atmosphere.

Breakfast was poor, more guests at the weekend created real chaos with staff. All things were missing at the same time, be it bread, tea pots, eggs, fruit, milk -you name it! I recommend having breakfast around the corner.

A stupid thing that annoyed me the last day -with the suitcases: the second elevator that was out of order!

Like the location and accessability to excellent restaurants and food and wine shopping.

Convenient for Vavin metro station on direct line from Gare du Nord. Nice shops and restaurants in the area and convenient for Saint Germain shops. Spacious reception, piano in bar,our room had good view out to artists' studios on road behind and it was very quiet. Imagine in summer it can be quite pleasant in the courtyard. Breakfast selection wasn't bad.Good to know there is parking under the hotel if we cam by car another time.

Our room was fairly spacious compared to our friends' rooms but there were two cupboard doors mysteriously locked. Coffee was not great at breakfast. We had to go out to Le Select.

The staff. The front desk people were not nice, not helpful, and really did not seem to care about us. The maid still tried to force her way in the first morning, even though we had a DO NOT DISTURB sign on but she would not take it. It is the only hotel I have been in that does not have someone behind the desk when I got it at night.

Very impressive entrance way led to a bright and pleasant reception area. As the name suggests, the hotel was full of Modigliani (and other) prints which made for interesting times whilst waiting for the (very slow) lift. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was copious. A pleasant garden area is situated at the back of the hotel together with seating areas at the front which gave ample opportunity for sitting outside in the warm weather. Hotel is a few metres from the nearest Metro station and within walking distance of the Gare Montparnasse mainline railway station.

While I was there, only one lift was working which was vey slow. The bedroom was relatively small with twin beds which might be claustrophic if two people were staying in the room. It also meant I had to squeeze round one bed to turn the bedside lights off - not always easy after a night on the town in Paris! There was a lack of power points around the room.

The lovely quiet entrance, the garden , a place to relax abit after rushing trough paris from subway to subway.

One of the elevators was broken what lead to abit queing at rush hours, the parking area was quite narrow, they couldve given an headsup before i parked in, scratched my car on the side abit, but oh well, my fault not theirs.

Nice location, a bit farther from the main attractions, but such a cheap stay for Paris and what you get at 120 per night. Great yard and foutain covering street noise at night.

Something (the carpet?) really stinked when we got in our room.

Separate bath room, no slipper in the room, the room is tiny the features are abit old.

The hotel is located near 3 metro stations nearby, lively and charming environment. Street has Sofrmkrtim and shops, and cafes. The hotel is very quiet and pleasant. Large spacious room with a refrigerator. Can work on the hotel's computer for free, get a code and password. Nice staff very courteous and professional. Fast service, responding within minutes to requests. I spent 6 nights hotel, and enjoyed every moment.

The price of breakfast is very expensive. Clean room, reasonable, you should keep a little more thorough clean.

Location. It's 3 mins from the Vavin metro and 10 mins from Gare Montparnasse.

The double room was rather cramped, and the bathroom has a half divider that is insufficient to prevent water from splashing onto the bathroom floor. The TV in my room doesn't work.

Perfect location, professional staff, perfectly maintened hotel. Three comments: 1. We were fortunate that upon checking-in our tiny room was replaced by quite spacy one. Frankly saying, the staff had to know that this room was too small for a couple. Anyway, a room was replaced, otherwice I would not mark Comfort as "excellent" in the above table. 2. At the reception desk, I was refused to get one more chair. My argument that "we are party of two and there is enough space for a second chair" did not convince. However, at the floor, a nice staff lady did bring a chair making our stay comfortable. 3. A room without an electric kettle.

Le Wifi est vraiment compliqué à faire fonctionner. La TV ne marche pas très bien : image bloquée régulièrement. Pas de radio. Lors de mes 2 derniers séjours j'ai demandé du thé vert nature et il n'y en a tjs pas... peut-être ce sera pour mon prochain séjour ?
