The location is very nice, close to the Orangerie park, the rooms are perfectly clean with a beautiful decoration, extremely comfortable beds, very kind and helpful staff, an amazing architecture of the Villa. I highly recommed to stay there.

For me the location was perfect as it was so near the Council of Europe. I liked the friendliness of the staff, they were very hospitable and attentive. I really liked my room, the design and layout with the separate bathroom and toilet, the toiletries provided were good too. I liked the fact that there were beautiful and interesting things in my room and around the hotel, the art work, the furniture. The towel rail in my bathroom was great, unusual, different but very practical and having all the mirrored cupboards in the bathroom was another idea that I liked. One quibble, the chairs in the bedroom were not suitable for use at the table (another great piece)/desk, wrong height and difficult to move without messing up the floor covering. The quality of everything felt good and that it had been chosen with taste and flair. Organic locally sourced food is another big hit with me and it was delicious. See above re desk/table but a very minor point. Website could be improved with directions of how to get to the hotel, the best way etc.

Everything except audbility was perfect The only bad thing is good audibility in the room. I heard my neighbour taking shower and even his cough at night and in the morning. Don't know how would I feel if I come there with a GF)

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was beautiful with a fantastic modern and quirky aesthetic throughout. The breakfast is something that must be experienced! Highly recommended.

Very pretty area of Strasbourg Some noise from above because of timber floors - if people had removed shoes this would not have been a problem.

Absolute calm and goodwill. Warm feeling. Breakfast is relatively expensive - all bio, but there is nothing to eat from the German point of view. The huge armoire d'époque was great for design but useless - after looking everywhere in Norway (the room's style) I was rather surprised to find out that I was supposed to hang my suit etc.... in the middle of the bathroom.

Staff welcoming, pleasant and enthusiastic, creating a very good impression from the start. Very comfortable bed and good, clean bathroom facilities. Great choice of locally sourced and organic products at breakfast. Only suggestions: > offer dining facilities (lunch/supper) > helpful if hotel website showed bathroom/bedroom combinations and if it would be possible to choose room at time of booking Would stay again!

Very good personnel. Cooperative and helpful.Very good service. Value for money. Excellent breakfast Rooms were good, based on my stay the first two nights. This is not a criticism, but the desk in the room could have been a bit more functional, for someone who needed to work at a desk. And a more comfortable chair.

The hotel seemed cozy, like staying at my grandparents house. I wouldn't really consider it a hotel, it was more like staying at someones house, which I hadn't expected. The room had old furniture and we could really hear our neighbors. It was a little dumpy inside the room, which was very small.

After we have complained about one of the rooms we stayed they accepted the problems we had and gave the night in this room as a courtesy. One of the rooms we stayed is very bad, this is a list of the problems: 1- the room is in the second floor of a side building with no elevator; 2 - The internet doesn't work properly is this side building; 3 - We got loccked inside this side building during the night as we didn't receive a key for the external door; 4 - The shower was broken, we needed to keep it in hand to "shower" and also the water comes out of the shower is too weak; 5 - The circulation between the side building to main building needs to be through the street.

Stylish, comfortable, very friendly, out-of-town hotel. Excellent modern facilities, large, well-equipped rooms. A small hotel that feels more like staying in a private house. Very helpful staff. Easy parking on the street outside. No complaints at all but bear in mind that the hotel is in a residential district well of the old town. Although you can walk in it takes at least twenty minutes, so you will need the car or taxis if you are going to do that regularly. Not the cheapest place to stay but worth it.

A family hotel, very relaxing with a splendid cosy atmosphere. From a check-in on the terrace with a view on a small swimming pool till the breakfast when you are served by the same people, you feel rather visiting somebody closed to the sea. A nice location - you are in the centre in 15-20 minute walking along the river and then in a residential area. The beds are very comfortable, almost every room has got a balcony (as far as I understood) and it is very quite after a busy day in the center. The breakfast has got a fantastic choice of bread and other local farmer's products that you will not find anywhere and you feel tempted to try all of them. You have to ask for slippers and bathrobe - they are not automatically in your room. During the breakfast I would suggest to the personal to be more attentional to the guests, check the choice and fill in the finishing items more often and not to be reminded on it. There is a small choice of very exquisite farm products you do not see in every hotel and you just want to try them.

The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. I felt like a VIP rockstar when I walked in. The bathroom is incredible with a wide rain-style shower head and very stylish sink, faucet, and countertop. The pool was very nice and refreshing. Location-wise, it was nicely out of the city center so we could experience some of the neighborhoods not on the tourist route. The deck was awesome. The only downside was that the sunshade for the deck was inoperable due to a prior tenant taking the remote control with them. So, in the heat of day we weren't able to sit out there without baking in the sun. Also, when it rained, we could have still enjoyed the deck if we would have been able to use the shade. Oh, it is also worth noting that they only have one key per room, so when traveling with friends you have to plan accordingly.

My friend and I had a wonderful weekend at the Villa Novarina. We wanted to get away and relax, and that's exactly what this hotel and its staff helped us to do. Every staff member, especially Alexander, was extremely friendly and helpful, from giving us as many fresh towels as we needed to helping us get our bikes untangled from each other. No request was too much for them. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. Our balcony overlooking the pool area was serene. The pool was refreshing, and it was great to just lie out in the sun in the quietness of the surrounding neighborhood. Since we had our bikes, it was easy to get to town for dinner and exploring, but it would have been an easy walk as well. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would definitely go back. The breakfast was a bit pricey, so we didn't partake. And the pool could use a better cleaning process. The water was quite green, but still refreshing.
