Villa Rivoli  

El hotel está bien ubicado, muy limpio. Tiene una bonita decoración. El personal es muy amable pero no hablan español. El hotel es antiguo pero está reformado. Huele bien.

No tiene ascensor.

The staff were very helpful and generally very friendly with good local knowledge which most of them were more than wiling to share. The villa has some history which is interesting, and it is perfectly located for a short trip to Nice, being 5 mins from the beach, bus stops to almost anywhere from Menton to Cannes!, The Promenade des Anglais etc. The air conditioning worked very well and the bathroom was big enough , very clean and well equipped. the public rooms were charming, and the little sitting room adjacent to the breakfast room was lovely. There was plenty of literature in numerous languages to help with planning outings too as well as beach umbrellas and mats which quests could borrow without charge.

The bedding could have fitted the beds better, the quilt was only half the size of the bed which meant that with the air conditioning on - (which was necessary during our trip!) one couldn't really be warm in bed as it wasn't long enough to cover the average person. Some bath products like shower gel would have been nice, especially in view of all the good local perfumiers etc. We could also have done with some hanging space which was long enough for dresses and trousers. The room had a 'tall boy' with drawers at the bottom. It was attractive and suited the room but wasn't that great for longer garments. Having said this, I would certainly stay there again, and have no doubt that the owners would act on any reasonable suggestions made.

As soon as we walked in the front door we were amazingly surprised as it was a fairly cheap hotel, and did not expect such a beautiful and quaint hotel. The hotel is so tasfully decorated, very charming and peaceful. Great helpful staff, and location was excellent, just a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. Would definately stay there again.

Provence style.Location was good-on the same street then Negresco and not very far from Massena.Close to the beach

Windows of our room was looking in the street and it was very-very noisy and also we listened all night and not only night adventures of our neighbours.If you like big choice of meals in the breakfast-don^t take breakfast here.

Original room was in the basement next to the laundry. Upgrade to a room one flight up the stairs was so small that access to the bathroom would have been impossible if one of the occupants was just a little "chubby".

Villa Rivoli was the first hotel I have ever stayed in that didn't have excessive heating. Beautiful nights sleep.

Room 15 in which we stayed had a high bathroom basin. Really strange.

Enjoyed everything really!

Only the room was a bit tight,but it was ok for me.Though for a grown-up man it could be too small.

I liked the exterior appearance of the hotel,nice building seen from outside but inside it is just normal and our room was simply bad,malodorous and too small with a toilette like the one you find in the trains(small and not functional).No windows apart from a little oblo . The room was located next to the laundry at -1 floor When I booked I clearly asked for a nice view on the steet or on the garden and they diddn't answer to inform me. Never again,horrible experience!

Clean, comfortable, practical, and well located.

Villa Rivoli was very conveniently located. It was highly recommended and it lived up to the expectations. Rooms were pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ability to park on premises was a huge plus. I plan on staying at the Villa Rivoli in the future.
