Villa Rivoli  

The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean.

Our room was directly above the main entrance and the front door and reception was noisy. The walls between bedrooms are very thin and we were kept awake with the television next door. Our room was a bit on the small side and would pay extra for a superior room next time.

Staff were very helpful and it's a good location only a few minutes walk from the main promenade, and also close enough to walk to and from the centre of town. It's near the bus routes too so that is very good. The room, while small, was extremely clean and it was comfortable.

The walls were like paper, I hear every move of the person next door almost down to their breathing. I was extremely lucky there wasn't a couple staying in the rooms either side as I was spared listening to talking (or worse!!). There's a lot of noise from traffic outside as there's no double glazing but it was a very quaint old French hotel so I guess lack of soundproofing is to be expected. Breakfast is overpriced, I found going to the boulangerie up the street for croissants and pastries much better value.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It felt more like the house/villa from its origins. Our room (Superior Double) was traditionally styled with many individual touches - 2 balconies, fireplace. Clean throughout. Hotel personnel were very efficient, helpful and friendly. Hotel short walk to the Promenade and 98 bus stop. Location near enough to the Old Town yet in its own distinctive and quiet district.

We honestly could not find fault with this hotel.

Beautiful small hotel, every room is different. Our room had three balconies! In a great part of Nice, took less than 10 minutes to walk to from the train station. Hotel is literally a 3 minute walk away from the beautiful beach. Wireless is free. Breakfast was a bit expensive so we never had it because there is a friendly and delicious boulangerie on the way to the beach. They have quiches, pizzas, pastries, and sandwiches for all under €3.5 and will heat them up for you. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, great area. I will definitely stay here again!

I liked the exterior appearance of the hotel,nice building seen from outside but inside it is just normal and our room was simply bad,malodorous and too small with a toilette like the one you find in the trains(small and not functional).No windows apart from a little oblo . The room was located next to the laundry at -1 floor When I booked I clearly asked for a nice view on the steet or on the garden and they diddn't answer to inform me. Never again,horrible experience!

Villa Rivoli was very conveniently located. It was highly recommended and it lived up to the expectations. Rooms were pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ability to park on premises was a huge plus. I plan on staying at the Villa Rivoli in the future.

Room was unusually small and did not appear renovated at all... Could not even open the bathroom door. Room very sparcely decorated, stains on bedspread, no toilettries, not a three star accommadation

As soon as we walked in the front door we were amazingly surprised as it was a fairly cheap hotel, and did not expect such a beautiful and quaint hotel. The hotel is so tasfully decorated, very charming and peaceful. Great helpful staff, and location was excellent, just a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. Would definately stay there again.

Provence style.Location was good-on the same street then Negresco and not very far from Massena.Close to the beach

Windows of our room was looking in the street and it was very-very noisy and also we listened all night and not only night adventures of our neighbours.If you like big choice of meals in the breakfast-don^t take breakfast here.

I liked to stay in he little garden belonging to the hotel. Nice and quite. Staff is smily and helpful. I had a small single room, bu I had the occasion to visit the double ones, and they are full of charm!

This lovely small boutique hotel is very well situated at only a few minutes walk from the Promenade Des Anglaises and the fabulous Nice beaches. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was not only very comfortable but charming. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family, friends and others generally.
