Our host Georges: he was the friendliest, most kind-hearted person we met on our trip. The Villa was gorgeous, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I slept like a log, including an afternoon nap. George's dogs are well behaved, entertaining, and friendly. And his breakfast croissants on the veranda are the best and biggest in the French-speaking world.
Not a thing.
We were very happy with our stay. Our room was huge, the bath with tub and shower was large and modern. Breakfast was served on the deck and was generous. Owner George was friendly and helpful. Two vigilant and friendly dogs greet and watch over you. The Villa is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. Aix eP is a noisy bustling town, the villa is apart from that, quiet and private. We liked the quietness. You are not far from the central bus station. The TGV train station is about 10 minute cab ride for about 30Euros. The Villa is charming, we loved it.
Great room, nice breakfast, lovely gardens
Great location, 10 minutes walk to town and plenty of parking provided. We also had a delicious breakfast served on both days on the terrace. Very welcoming host.
The owner is super friendly and helpful.
The owner has dogs, they are not aggressive at all but a little annoying.
Excellent breakfast and friendly hosts. Even with limited English, George assisted with changing the return location of our hire car and printing our modified train booking.
Toilet and bathroom down a short corridor but it was not an issue.
Interieur. Not extreme luxe but very nice. Location close to center and peacefull as well. Friendly owners
Location was ideal for me, not too far from the center of Aix. To have a kitchen at your disposal is a plus.
Breakfast got boring after the first morning. Internet connection in my room sucked and I had to go to the patio to get good connection. I have been to better b&bs.
Difficult to find at night No Sign except house number
we were absolutely thrilled by our stay at the villa roumanille ! the house is a gorgeous traditionnal provencal house, very well furnished and equiped, very typical ! the owner was very kind and helpfull, and served a delicious breakfast, on a sunny terrasse just outside the rooms. The house is set in a beautiful garden with lots of shade from big trees, much appreciated in the sunny south of France ! The house is 10-15 minutes from the city center on foot, but the amazing garden makes it a peaceful haven for a tired traveler. we will definitly go back and we recommend the villa Roumanille !!!
The hosts were attentive, helpful and friendly. It was great to be able to cook. The room was large and it was so good we extended our stay there.
The owner was absent when we arrived, we had to wait for him outside for a long time. The room was very cold and dirty. Everything in it was dirty. You get inside from the rear entrance through the kitchen where our breakfast table for the next day has already been set up in a disgusting and dirty covers. We immediately cancelled it as there was no way we were going to eat anything from there. The bathroom was cold, dirty and scaring. Reminded us of some of saw scenes. The dogs were released at night and you are set for a scary welcome if you do not expect them. For such an off season period, such a poor service, and such a low standard the night is unacceptably expensive. The owner could not care less about what you may need, your comfort and the worst thing is he does not seem to realise how a horrible host he is, or may be he simply does not care, well for 130eur/night in january I think he should...DO Not go there it is a rip off
Good location, very charming room and furnitures, beautiful garden and very nice host.
1- Comfort & Location 2- Breakfast

the boss is really nice and give the guidence for how to visit the city
Lovely period house - enormous rooms. Individualistic and charming furnishing. Beautiful gardens. Friendly and helpful service
Bathroom - although clean and perfectly functional could do with a little maintenance - a few chipped tiles
Location, atmosphere, size of the room, interior of the room, garden facilities and breakfast were great! Very kind staff.
No english speaker staff, no toilet in the room, credit card not accepted
Enjoyed to stay in an old villa so close to the center. Very fine room and excellent breakfast in the garden. Friendly host with two nice dogs.
The host is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to help.
