Villa Beaumarchais  

A very good size room in a very quiet location. Quick access to Metro and to a number of good restaurants in Marais.

Hotel was overpriced, room was dirty, there was water damage in the closet, the staff were disheveled and occasionally rude, not all the mail sent to me at the hotel was kept for me, the only minimally redeeming factor was the location right on the edge of la marais, but there are many many more much better apartments and hotels in that area.

We stayed for 3 day trip. The location of the hotel is perfect. Also it is very quiet and the beds are good.

The breakfeast is too simple. I would suggest to increase the price from 15 to 20 Euros and increase the level of the breakfeast.

Good location in Marais in center of Paris.

Although the Hotel is said to be Gayfriendly, the (slow) WiFi connection is blocked for all domains containing 'gay'. This prevented me to work in the hotel and the staff wasn't able or willing to change it. Not as Gayfriendly as they state!

Very little apart from the location and one nice woman at the reception. I have stayed in many hotels in Paris, and this hotel does not deserve 3 starts. It is a two star hotel and highly overpriced.

Bad food for breakfast. Mold in the bathroom. Not clean feeling. Shabby decorations. Very basic service. Very depressing atmosphere/ambiance in common area. Horrible internet service.

Very quiet and efficiently run.

Location was the main plus of this hotel.... If one has in mind beeing close to Le Marais.....but there are other options on the other side of the Blvd Beaumarchais too; the size of the room and bathroom are ok ( I was alone).... Amenities in the bathroom were fine... The hotel has a certain flair ...french decoration like a home; I received a nice fruit/chocolate tray from the Manager ( I guess that I was paying top price for the room that weekend which happened to be Nuit Blance and Fashion Week in Paris)....I Belive that I paid more than the hotel value for this reason ... I would recommend the hotel to a friend if the price is half which I had paid this time....

Definitely the staff ....the recepcionist in the mornings of 30 sept, 01 and 02 october was not in line with the 4 stars hotel sign at the entrance !!!!! he is abrupt, not helpful, not kind, always making you feel not welcomed.... In the morning of my last day, he mentioned to me 3 times that the check out time was at noon, like I was some kind of stupid guest...he was worry of his problem of a complete full house; there are ways, and ways, to say things.... Did not have a bellman to carry the luggage, bearing it is a 4 stars hotel; safe deposit box a little complicated to use it (old model); recoomended the need for a swithch on/off for all fixtures next to bed;

The location

The key system...keys left in box at reception..the safe didnt work...no donot disturb signs...the carpet looks dirty... The staff were okay but the fellow on the weekend was not helpful

Location to friends living in Paris

The location near the Place De Vosges was ideal for me and size of the room was pretty good for a reasonable Paris Hotel - I also liked the cleanliness of the bathroom and comfortable bed...

Housekeeping sprays 'air freshener' or perfume in the hallways - which I'm sensitive to - left a note to not spray in the room and it worked!

la situation de l'hôtel ; le calme (les chambres donnant sur le patio) ; la plupart du personnel est aimable & serviable ;

les prestations étaient très correctes dans le cadre d'un tarif promotionnel Booking mais cet hôtel ne mérite honnêtement pas 4 étoiles ; petits déjeuners chers, au décompte un peu hasardeux ; room service long (40 min. environ) & choix assez restreint ; moquette de la chambre tachée ;

L'emplacement.

Accueil déplorable et antipathique chambre petite et moquette on ne peut plus tâchée...vraiment lorsqu'on se rend dans un 4 étoiles pour visiter Paris en voulant se faire plaisir, on en sort déçu !

Buena ubicación.

En realidad es un tres estrellas justo, desde luego no un cuatro estrellas. Quizás por ser verano durante nuestra visita, pero el personal parecía muy justo para las instalaciones. La televisión no funcionaba, por ejemplo, y nunca la arreglaron. Le haría falta una renovación.
