General hotel ambience and appearance on entering the hotel was good.The breakfast area was pleasant and airy. The air conditioning system was abysmal and one of the wall mounted grilles fell off and injured my arm. The staff said that no other rooms were available, which I did not believe, and could not provide any portable fans to give any cooling. A poor experience. |

The Hotel is despite beeing in the city center very quiet. It is located very near to the metro and a lot of sights are in walking distance. The closet is very small, if you want to hang more than 5 pieces it gets difficult. |

It was very quiet and the staff was friendly, they helped me every time I needed something for the baby. I would like to return next time I go to Paris. It is not modern, but it is very clean and nice. |

beds were very comfortable and rooms very quiet on the inner court yard. Perfectly located for a nice gettaway and close to culture and night life breakfast was a little limited, in my view |

Hotel staff was very friendy and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good especially the coffee. Good location very close to Metro station. |

We liked the location, comfort and quietness Our room was next to the elevator which brought slight noise in the morning (not a serious inconvenience anyway) |

What wasn't to like! I loved the unusual layout - it was a great use of space and felt very light. Really comfortable surroundings, combined with extremely helpful and courteous staff and a very smart room. Would definitely book again. |

Hotel was very quite and was in a good neighborhoold. Hotel staff at the front desk was very helpful in giving directions and assistance. |

Lovely boutique hotel feel with friendly staff. Our first room was a little small, but the staff were happy to move us on our second night. i would suggest they get some new beds in as the two rooms we stayed in both had beds that sunk towards the middle. still got a decent nights sleep, but they felt well used... |

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was the best I've ever eaten with a hotel, the location was great and the room charming. Although the room was charming it needs some work. The chair, though silk and beautiful, was threadbare; the carpet, though a pretty blue and regal looking had some stains; the bedspread, though elegant, looked like it was old. The hotel needs some refurbishing investment, but perhaps that's why the price was so good? |

Big room, nice and quiet in the heart of the marais Wifi didn't work, they appologised for it everyday but couldn't fix it in the 4 days of our stay |

Good location, friendly stuff, central yet quiet One major problem that I couldn't learn (or failed to see) about in your site, is that this is a all-smoking-rooms hotel !! The room we got had a very disturbing cigarettes stink. Also, I can't see how this is a four stars hotel. One can see that many years ago it used to be very grand and beautiful, nowadays it feels a bit neglected... broken bathroom floor, etc |

the service was excellent the hotel is tacky, needs substantial refurbishment to be called 4 star which it certainly is not at this time. However in to other hotels in the area it is reasonable value for money |

The hotel is quite conveniently located in a small street off Boulevard Beaumarchais. The room I had was small but still ok. I do not know anything about the French hotel classification but on my personal scale I would rate it as a 2-3 star hotel (but in many cases hotels are rated in classes I would consider to be too high). During my short stay (one night) staff was efficient and not unfriendly (but not friendly either). Breakfast was included in the booking.com rate I had, but it was really bad. Usually they are currently charging 19 EUR pP, from my impression even 9 EUR would be too high. |
