I like the situation - near Marai district and silence at night - all rooms faced inner yard. Good breakfast at reasonable for Paris price. One person at the desk promised to sell us Disneyland-tickets with discount, at other day another person didn't know how to do it. She proposed tickets but by full price |

We found the staff very friendly.Helpful and patient and willing to answer our questions. We stayed in one of their larger rooms and it was wonderful. Great location, quiet street, easy access to metro, and wonderful restaurants. Bathrooms large beds very comfortable, wonderful hot water!! We would have liked a less expensive breakfast. |

Good location, convenient to transportation, room was decent size and fairly attractive, room was quiet due to hotel design with rooms overlooking interior courtyard, but the side street is small and would be quiet, anyway The carpet was filthy and worn and should have been replaced years ago (it is shocking that a 4* hotel has this carpet, they could replace it at the cost of less than one night's stay--it wasn't even good quality carpet). There were few amenities in the hotel in the bathroom (bar soap and one small bottle shampoo--no shower cap, no conditioner, no bath gel), and the sink stopper was broken and missing the top of the stopper and would not close, so you couldn't do hand laundry in the sink. The mattress was very hard and not that comfortable. The hotel also had lax security about the room keys and kept them on the desk where anyone had access to them and someone wasn't even at the desk a lot of the time. The tv did not get the bbc. |

It is well placed clean and comfortable and the rates aren't bad. Apart from the charming receptionist I think her name is Sylvie, the staff at Beaumarchais are seriously scruffy and need to learn a bit about customer management. Seriously a smile goes a long way! Also the Breakfast for 15€, avoid it like the plague, it is simply not worth more than 5€ and that is essentially for the coffee!!! |

great location in the Marais very few staff. When the lights did not work, was told that nothing could be done until morning because the person on reception was alone in the hotel. Bar not open in the evening either |

The location is fantastic and the hotel is quiet. Yes: the staff was plain rude and utterly unapologetic. Far below 4-star standard. |

The hotel is very well situated alongside the third arrondissement. For those who don't like the noise of Parisian traffic: please ask for a room facing the internal court yard. Very friendly staff! This hotel definitely needs a lot of maintenance. Very small beds for a tall Dutchman. |

General hotel ambience and appearance on entering the hotel was good. The breakfast area was pleasant and airy. The air conditioning system was abysmal and one of the wall mounted grilles fell off and injured my arm. The staff said that no other rooms were available, which I did not believe, and could not provide any portable fans to give any cooling. A poor experience. |

The Hotel is despite beeing in the city center very quiet. It is located very near to the metro and a lot of sights are in walking distance. The closet is very small, if you want to hang more than 5 pieces it gets difficult. |

It was very quiet and the staff was friendly, they helped me every time I needed something for the baby. I would like to return next time I go to Paris. It is not modern, but it is very clean and nice. |

We liked the location, comfort and quietness Our room was next to the elevator which brought slight noise in the morning (not a serious inconvenience anyway) |

What wasn't to like! I loved the unusual layout - it was a great use of space and felt very light. Really comfortable surroundings, combined with extremely helpful and courteous staff and a very smart room. Would definitely book again. |

Lovely boutique hotel feel with friendly staff. Our first room was a little small, but the staff were happy to move us on our second night. i would suggest they get some new beds in as the two rooms we stayed in both had beds that sunk towards the middle. still got a decent nights sleep, but they felt well used... |

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was the best I've ever eaten with a hotel, the location was great and the room charming. Although the room was charming it needs some work. The chair, though silk and beautiful, was threadbare; the carpet, though a pretty blue and regal looking had some stains; the bedspread, though elegant, looked like it was old. The hotel needs some refurbishing investment, but perhaps that's why the price was so good? |
