Hôtel La Villa Cap d’Antibes  

The hotel's peaceful setting, superb pool and bar area and high quality buffet breakfast selection were features which made our 4-day, 3 nights' stay very satisfying and enjoyable. However the greatest praise must go to the efficiency and friendly professionalism of every staff member; their warmth and politeness was consistent at all times and distinguished La Villa from many other high quality hotels we've visited over the years. Temperatures were in the upper twenties, but the air conditioning performed very efffectively. We were provided a FOC upgrade to a Comfort room on the ground floor of an annexe only a few yards from the outdoor pool.

The breakfast price is quite steep, but the alternative - a 15+ minute walk to Juan-les-Pins and the return, uphill walk - made eating-in the sensible and very enjoyable alternative.

Lovely clean rooms with a contempory feel. Not however that pratical as did not have draws to store clothes although there were a few shelfs in the wardrobe., The lighting was subtle but not pratical of an evening you could not see what clothes you had in your wardrobe and there was no dressing table with mirror with lighting to do make up etc. However decor throughout the hotel was lovely and hotel very clean and fresh. The staff were lovely polite and welcoming. We did not eat breakfast however as 18 euro seems a bit expensive and you could get lovely pastrys locally for 2 euro. We did not see the bar open at all but we did visit out of season in october the pool area was nice but we did not use it due to weather and noise. .

Main complaint which spoiled whole experience was the extensive buliding work that was going on in two sites either side of this hotel. Although obviously not the thought of this hotel it did spoil our visit as it started every weekday at about 8am to 4pm. Drilling and demolision work on two major buliding sites, so sitting by the pool and reading was not really an option.

Mainly location , which is short distance from city center and the beach , and the service which was friendly and professional .

Very small bathroom , rooms decoration not updated , no really sea view in a room which was defined as such .

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, and excellent facilities.

It was convenient to the Mediterranean Sea but in a residential area so it was very quiet. The pool was very useable and the staff very friendly. The decor of the lobby was absolutely beautiful and zen-like.

The room was a bit small.

Lovely hotel - in a very quiet area but very easy walk into the hustle bustle of town. Would highly recommend for couples looking for a romantic get-away.

The staff was very nice, the service very good and the location quite nice.

The room was quite small for the money and the a/c was a bit on the weak side.

The kindness and readyness of the staff to help when ever we needed anything!

Booking included lunch 18 euros per person per night, which was charged to us at the check out and was no negotiable per office staff based on their information written in French.Overpriced for the location and ammenities.We stayed in Nice cheeper and in the better hotel.
