Clean and attractive rooms, excellent staff, a wonderful experience. I should add that we were planning on coming to the hotel in November, but due to a last-minute (literally) train strike, that was impossible. Though the Villa d'Estrées could have required payment for the first night, they graciously proposed not to do so. The bar next door is a bit loud, but that's part of what makes the excellent location: the area around the hotel is central and lively, and you just have to head down the stairs to be in a very fun part of the city!

Very comfortable hotel, cosy and warm. Well appointed and the staff are very friendly. When we were there sadly it rained every day but the staff lent us a great umbrella!

Great central location near to all major tourist attractions. Has the look and feel of a quality boutique hotel run by helpful informed multilingual staff who are welcoming yet unobtrusive. We had a wonderful experience and stayed here because of a friends recommendation. We inturn also highly recommend this hotel.

Nous avons apprécié le calme absolu en plein centre de paris, à proximité imidiate du metro. Belle chambre. Le petit déjeuner pas disponible à 7h30: le boulanger n'était pas encore venu avec les baguettes....

L'emplacement dans un quartier que nous aimons particulièrement, central et proche à pied de bien des visites que nous faisons. Le petit déjeuner, un peu * chiche* pour un hôtel de cette catégorie, et le manque de confiance de la direction qui nous redemande no de carte d'identité et no complet de carte bancaire, alors que ces informations étaient déjà en votre possession

Les tables du petit dejeuner sont situées dans le hall d'entrée, beaucoup de passage, cela ne laisse pas beaucoup de calme et de donne pas l'envie de prendre son temps le matin. Les chambres, bien que spacieuse ( j'avais pris une suite) ne sont pas tres bien meublées à mon gout, et ne laisse pas l'impression de proprété, y compris la salle de bain.

Would come again Mattress two joined singles, seam felt, too firm Shower/tub hard to get good shower, easy to hit hot/cold fixtures with knees--not a comfortable shower--not very safe. Thermostat hard to figure out Card/chip to open door seemed to be tricky for us and several other people.
