Ciboure (the Leïhorra Villa, the Convent of Recollets and Ravel’s house). The town, which is built at the far end of the bridge over the Nivelle, is remarkable for the beauty of its setting, between the ocean and hills. Its history is closely linked with the sea and fishing.
Sea trips with the Lixto shuttle line. Departures from Ciboure or St-Jean-de-Luz.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the town of the Sun King (cliffs, Grévin museum, the house of Louis XIV, the house of the Infanta, the Weaving Ecomuseum, etc.).

The Basque coast: Bayonne (23 km) and the Vauban ramparts, Gothic cathedral, cloisters and Bonnat museum; Bidart (10 km) and the Chapel of St Mary Magdelene; Guéthary (7 km) and the Saraleguinea art museum; Anglet (20 km) and Chiberta lake; Saint-Jean-de-Luz (2 km) and the Grévin museum, the town square and visits to the house of Louis XIV and the house of the Infanta; Sare (15 km) and the prehistoric caves; Hendaye (14 km) and the Abbadia estate; Biarritz (17 km) and the Imperial Chapel, the Chocolate Museum, St Martin’s Church, the History Museum, the Maritime Museum and its aquariums.
In the Nive Valley: Cambo-les-Bains (the Edmond Rostand Museum), Bidarray (the nature reserve with "pottocks", the small ponies of the region), Louhossoa (weaving studios). Further away, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (65 km),the Prison of the Bishops and pottery from Navarre.
Colourful, tasty gastronomy: Bayonne, Espelette and its Antton chocolates and hot peppers; Mauléon and Ossès (cheese and duck foie gras); Villefranque (cakes, jams and tarts) and the Irouléguy wine cellars in Saint-Etienne-de-Baïgorry.
A EUR 200 deposit per apartment must be paid on arrival (by cheque or credit card). It is refundable upon departure after inventory.
From 20 December 2008 to 04 April 2009 the hotel reception is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 19:00, Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 19:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 20:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00. Reception is closed on Wednesday.
From 04 April 2009 to 14 November 2009 the hotel reception is open Sunday through Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 19:00, Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 20:00. Reception is closed on Wednesday in April and October.

J'apprécie d'être en retrait par rapport à St Jean de Luz, d'y gagner en tranquilité tout en étant proche des commerces ou des activités. J'adore ce domaine : tout est beau. Cette année, la piscine n'était pas en service ni nettoyée, alors que j'ai choisi ce site pour profiter de ces équipements, ce qui est dommage vu le beau temps en cette saison. |

Ce « Pierre et Vacances » est fort bien situé dans les arbres et à l'abri du bruit. Endroit calme au moment de notre séjour. Les familles étant de retour au travail et à l'école. C'est un complexe de qualité et enchanteur. La cuisine n'est pas suffisamment garnie; manque de planche à découper, de couteaux bien coupants, de presse-jus et de casserolles. Il n'y avait pas d'instructions pour faire fonctionner le four et le lave -vaisselle. La chambre est très petite... |
