Excellent location for all major sites within the city, beautiful rooms which were also very clean. Other than the reception staff in general they were unhelpful. Chef refused to cook eggs 1/2 hr before end of service as he had "already cooked enough for 40 people"! |

The breakfast room was very inviting and the breakfast was very good. The hotel rooms and common areas was a little run down and didn't live up to it's 4 star rating. A bit too expensive. |

Value for money. Large room esp for Paris, small but comfortable lobby and outdoor patio. A/c worked! Classic, nice decor, good bed, large bathrm with tub. Well situated. We had the largest room so I cannot say if the others were large by overall terrible Paris standards. Breakfast was high priced, but in keeping iwth 4 star prices. Never worth it in Paris. |

I've stayed here 3-4 times, usually on business. I always try to come back here if I can. I've stayed in 3 other Paris hotels, none compare to this one. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and a decent size for Paris (small for anywhere else). If you are staying with a spouse/significant other, they have real queen beds and not the two full beds pushed together that is often the case in Paris. The air conditioning actually works - not to be taken for granted in Paris in the summer. The location is great - Rue Des Ecoles is in the Latin Quarter but not as noisy as the nearby St. Germain. Many great sites are an easy walk (Cluny Musuem, Notre Dame, San Chapelle, etc.). Occasionally the staff has been a bit perfunctory, but most of the time (and on this visit) they are very helpful. There is free internet in lobby (ask for the password). The breakfasts are good, and include English-style (eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes). They are worth it if you want a real breakfast. If you just want a croissant and coffee, the restaurant right next to Villa Pantheon is good and less expensive. |

Loved the location! Takes the pressure completely off hotel facilities. Velib just outside (Parisian bike system - very convenient and easy to use - find nearest velib station at http://www.en.velib.paris.fr/trouver_une_station and plan your day). Hotel room like a little old-fashioned hat box with striped linen wall paper. Very cosy. Detail: If your hair needs conditioner, you must bring it yourself |

The room was clean and the maintenance of cleanliness during the 12 days we stayed was high. People were friendly and helpful. Location excellent for city tourism in Paris. Not on noisy street. Our room on the top floor was deluxe quality and as such large. Bathroom excellent. We enjoyed our stay. There is a lack of permanent maintenance capability. We had a problem with a noise that came from the roof and they had to call in service from outside providers who do not work on week ends on night. This problem affect one whole week end and then it was corrected, but started again one weekend later. No wi fi in room, only in lobby. |

Excellent location. Profusion of restaurants of all kinds (bistro, elegant, ethnic) within short walking distance. I believe four star rating is an exaggeration. In particular, common space is very meager. There is no internet in the rooms and one downstairs is not working well. |

The hotel was in a fabulous location in the Latin quarter- very close to Metro and walking distance to lots of great monuments. Loved the decor- very 'French' and the room was even a reasonable size for Paris proportions! Breakfasts were also of a good quality. |

Hotel is in a great location giving easy access to the Latin Quarter and the rest of Paris. We liked the sixth floor room we had been allocated which was fairly large, (for central Paris), and enjoyed the views over the rooftops. Breakfast was included in our deal and was excellent both in quality and quantity. Nothing personally, but the couple we were travelling with were allocated a smaller room on the first floor which was quite dark. Also their air conditioning did not function correctly. |

It was rather comfortable and quiet. One should ask for the room with windows to the yard, since on the other side there is a noisy Rue des Ecoles |
