Stable and fast wifi. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception desk. Very good breakfast. Good location - easy to get everywhere and lots of places to eat nearby.
Air conditioning not functioning properly and it was a little too cold in the room (autumn). Bathroom needs renovation / good cleaning - there were some fungi visible between tiles on the wall. Room was small, and the "twin bed" option was almost indistinguishable from a "single bed for two people" option.
Room in the back reasonably quiet. Breakfast was pretty OK. Wifi pretty decent. Close to Gare de l'Est and conference venue.
Overpriced room. Not worth the money paid for it. Very basic, crampy - barely space to move around, dark bedroom. Bathroom run down and not well cleaned. Terribly small shower cabin, broken shower, hair from other guests. Guess this is a typical Paris hotel that will never make it to my list of favorite places to stay. Room pictures on Booking not representative for what the room actually lookks like. Disappointing experience.
Anne was great although all staff were friendly. Rooms are small but clean
Would have liked to be close to the centre but the local bars etc were much cheaper as not in centre. Light lunch in town was €47 and large evening meal with wine near hotel was €65
Location near to Gere de I'Est. Superb location! Warm welcome by receptionist.
My room got no outside view at all. Problematic wifi connection to endroid & apple users (receptionist apologized about it). Small lift; not suitable for family with huge luggage. Need to improve in the future!
We stayed in room 165 which was at the back of the hotel and nice and quiet. Location was great. Everywhere was accessible within a 20 tube ride. Monmarte is a 6 minute journey. Staff were lovely. You couldn't ask for anybody friendlier or more helpful. Tea and coffee was available all day and included in the price. It sounds silly but it was nice paying this price and having a power shower that didn't flood the bathroom.
Not enough room to walk around the bed. I didn't get a response to my request to have a room available for when we arrived at 11. I understand if it wasn't possible but it would have been nice to let me know
i liked really all,the hotel itself, location, large garden nearby, superb to relax, bus and metro stations nearby, excellent transport to airport,i like it all really,i return when i can,and when there are vacant rooms,i need to book soon
Great location, near to the metro station. Great connection point with a lot of metro lines.
Rooms too small.
Location near the train station (we arrived and departed from it), very helpful staff, comfortable room, WiFi working with no problems
The location of this Timhotel is fantastic for an overnight transit stop. It is just around the corner from the station and there are plenty of great spots to eat and have a cool drink. If you head down the street the other direction there are lots of local little spots to enjoy a real Paris evening along the Canal St Martin. It has been warm in Paris and the evening we sat on the pavement and enjoyed some wonderful Parisian fare. The Hotel itself has a good service lift and is very clean. Staff were courteous and helpful.
The room was quite tiny - but there wasn't much to not like really.
After I had complained about my tiny supreme double room , I got a better room the next day which was refurbished and more modern. Shuttle service (extra fee) to the airport. Baggage storage on check-out day.
the pictures and the location on the website are deceiving. The hotel didn't have a fitness room, although it was mentioned on the website. The breakfast room small, right next to the front desk and main entrance. Very basic breakfast. Tiny hallways and stairs to the rooms. Old carpets, no plug in double room/bathroom. Only one sink and hardly any storage space. Loud street. Only bearable when windows were closed. Your view is towards a monastery (high walls) NOT towards the Canal which is another block down. Gare du l'Est and Gare du Nord are not locations where you want to spend your holidays at. Homeless on the street, dirty and very poor neighborhood. This is far from the expected Parisian flair.
Location and fast wifi speed.
Bathroom poor. No draw space
Staff where excellent at check in
Rooms very small cramped, expensive for size of room and have to hand key card in on going out
Location to the metro was fab and the fact they give you free wifi is an amazing perk! Staff are very helpful and friendly.
We were in a basement room and we for some reason everytime other rooms flushed their loo it sounded like it was coming from ours. Very loud when it's in middle of the night. Also room wasn't ready until atleast 3 which was bit annoying.
Location and staff excellent
The mini balconies, the good location and fast wifi and the friendly staff.
Initially we were put in room 165 which was extremely tiny for a double room - as in you couldn't go from one side of the room to other without jumping over the bed. The staff was quite helpful when we complained to her and moved us to a different room the same evening. This room was better - spacious, good Wifi, they also kept our luggage safe on the final day after we had checked out
In the new room, the bathroom was tiny with the shower area just about enough for one person to enter let alone shower. Breakfast was ok but quite expensive for the options available
Friendly and helpful staff who can speak english. Location is very near metro.
Staff always available, and most of all the breakfast!
The map you emailed was not at all clear. Although we arrived at the Gare du Nord, we walked round the area for one hour before we found the hotel, and that was after asking three different people.
The staff were very helpful and lovely.
The room was quite small
Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean and nicely equipped rooms, good shower and modern bathroom. Good breakfast buffet, slightly pricey but eat all you like (stash some in your bag for lunch sandwiches).
Breakfast room a bit small at busy times.
Friendly staff, and helpful. bed was comfortable Value for money
Could have been slightly cleaner!
This is an excellent location for a visit to Paris. Close to the Gare de Nord without being too close to that area. Clean, friendly with a nice breakfast, and a delightful little park opposite for an early morning stroll. A secure, excellent Safe which is free to use and much appreciated.
There was really nothing to dislike about this hotel. We can recommend it, and will use it again on our next visit to Paris.
Convenient location close to Gare de l'est.
Small rooms, dated furniture and decor, very narrow corridors.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and welcoming. It was conveniently situated near to both Gare de l'Est and Gare de Nord. Metro was only 3 mins walk away. From 4th floor there was a view of the nearby park
The size of the room and the size of the shower. Although we had booked only a standard size room I felt it was too small. There was insufficient room between the end of the bed and the wall to walk between the two - you had to shuffle past. The bathroom was small and the shower cubicle very small and the door was almost too small. I would suggest converting the room into a wet room which would alleviate this problem
