Friendly and helpful staff..Decent room and bathroom. V.good breakfast Location near to most places in Nice you would want to go to. We have been before and it is even nicer away from Winter with pretty garden where one can have breakfast. Some parking spaces in front of hotel but not cheap at 18 Euros a night. A nice hotel and good value for the money
Towels rather thin. Safe code inputting/locking/ opening needed getting used to. Over large sink unit round the basin hindered access to toilet unit in bathroom.it would be a problem for handicapped person though other rooms may not suffer from this fault.
Location was great and staff very attentive, they even allowed us to leave our luggage there even when we hadn't sleep at their hotel the night before.
Bedroom leading to the main street gets extremely noisy and it is difficult to sleep.
Location/cleanliness/large room. Ideal for city centre/tram and bus routes. Many restaurants and bars on Rue de France - just 5 minute walk away.
Breakfast expensive(like most hotels) so didn't take at the hotel but plenty of options in the vicinity
The hospitality, the wonderful breakfast, the comfort and cleanliness of rooms and dining hall, the location, very close to downtown shopping and many restaurants.
The parking spots are difficult to access and to pull out from.
friendly helpful staff, great location, lovely gardens
Quiet Hotel, Rooms to a Park; the Hotel is not far from the Center
No Restaurant in the Hotel
Very nicely styled rooms for a 4 star hotel. Lovely view of the garden. Friendly and helpful staff.
Almost non-existent wifi signal on the 2nd floor.
Good place as for sea and sightseeing as for rail station as well. Big room, WF, nice garden for breakfast, tea and coffee of free all day.
We were here for a few days on our honeymoon and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We arrived very early - 9:30 am - from an overnight train and the front desk immediately made us feel welcomed and worked very hard to get us a room so we could check in early. I would strongly reccomend this hotel - great location to walk to everything.
Location is great. You can walk everywhere. Lovely rooms as well.
Wifi had issues and restricted a lot of sites so could not get my work done.
Location - not far from SNCF station (10 mins),Promenade des Anglais (10 mins) shopping area (5 mins). Fairly quiet street (Boulevard Victor Hugo) Hotel is quite small and friendly. Rooms are a reasonable size with high ceilings and large windows. The private garden is delightful and even has Victoria the hotel cat! Complementary coffee in the lobby area and often cakes too! Newspapers available including New York Times. Umbrellas provided. TV has a good range of channels with quite a few in English including BBC World. Very helpful desk staff - all speak good English. Great breakfast choice and good coffee. We'll definitely stay at this hotel again when we come back to Nice.
Mostly everything was good so not much that I didn't like. We noticed that towels were changed daily which I think is unnecessary and not eco-friendly. But that's it - everything else was good or very good
jardin colourful room helpful staff at the reception
bathroom is old and uncomfortable. not enough light in the room. the bed is very noisy. rather poor breakfast. no bar. no one helped with the luggage. did not supply with shampoo and other basic toiletries after the first night.
good and quiet location, the stuff - very helpful , the room size - which was pretty good by french standards.
the toilet was separate from the bathroom, and it was really small ( and I mean REALLY small) ; the bathroom itself was outdated ( which is a shame considering the room looked rather new). breakfast choice kind of poor and repetitive ;
Good location for access to the train station. 5 minutes from the Promenade des Anglais. 5 minute walk to the shopping street of Rue Jean Medecin 8 minute walk to the Old town. Comfortable good size double room. Good selection of television channels Good selection for breakfast by French hotel standards Free WiFi Very Helpful staff
Location was good. Problematical parking near to hotel, but public parking 500 meters from it.
Chemicals, used for the cleaning had so strong smell, just impossible to stay in the room w/o open window
Conveniently located hotel retaining a French feel but offering amenities. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was great. Patio area was beautiful.
Our room had a bathtub with a handheld shower which took some getting used to. Probably more of a culture difference than a problem. WiFi available but occasionally was not reliable.
Varied buffet breakfast included items required for special diets: gluten free + vegan and vegetarian. Beautiful peaceful garden area for eating or just relaxing.
House and garden. Position nice 'back' from the waterside but close to everything. Simpel parking in front of hotel.
Great location great staff wonderful breakfast
Good garden ,nice breakfast.
on the street ı parked my car 50 m near hotel. our belongings in the car stolen by night.police is not consider ı thınk.
Friendly, helpful staff. Great location right in central Nice and close to all tourist attractions and train station. Wonderful, beautiful garden (when it's not raining!!).
Bathroom needs an update, not four star standard, very basic and worn.
Great location, lovely courtyard garden. Walking to beach or train. Good restaurants close by. Very quiet large spacious room with properly working air conditioning.
In our room the bath tub was small and narrow without handles to assist getting in and out. The shower nozzle hung off the side of the bath so you had to hold it to wash off shampoo, etc while sitting in the bath which was awkward and annoying.
Location was great. Garden was fab.
Hairdryer was very poor, & brekkie was too expensive especially as I thought it was included !!
Nice room, good location and lovely garden
