Good wifi and comfortable rooms / facilities.
It was overpriced and the breakfast was average. Hardly got any food and the staff at breakfast were rude. Wasn't a very social hostel either.
Good location, very friendly staff, clean facilities Easy to get from hostel to the main sights on foot/by public transport.
I had no bad experience in this hostel.
+Good value +Polite staff +Near Metro +Beautiful location - not crowded
-Shower had some tiles that were coming off, with bit of mold -Breakfast was very minimal
The beds are very comfortable and the wifi is great! It's near a lot of places so for tourists, their first stop can be the Sacré Coeur which is a 5 minute walk from the hostel.
The shower head was broken so while taking a shower the water spurted out everywhere.
The location of the hostel is really cool! Close to famous tourist attraction and the metro station Anverse. Staff are really nice and eager to offer helps!
Relatively smaller room and the drainage of the bath tube is not that good
The breakfast is good and the room is cozy.
The price is a little high.
-Walking distance to Gare du Nord station train/bus/metro station -Clean room -Free Wifi -Near grocery shopping -Nice staff
I liked the accommodation, breakfast and team. You will stay distant from downtown, but you have easy access by metro, there are two metro stations near by.
I don't like the neighborhood, it seems to be a dangerous district. Nothing bad happened to me in those days, but I was always afraid to arrive late in the hostel.
Extremely nice and helpful staff. Great atmosphere at the hall. Free breakfast. Nice room. Reasonable price.
Far from tourist sites, not an extremely reasonable deal (but still quite reasonable) anymore if traffic fee considered.
Nice bathroom in the 4-bed room.
Certain areas in the shower and especially the shower head was very moldy - time for a replacement and thorough cleaning! Beds were very cheap and shaky, but mattress was fine. Breakfast was not very Parisian as mentioned. It was rather minimal - not really worth it. And there were no plates - you just had to use a tray.
Receptionists are very friendly and nice! I know the fee for "Free" breakfast is included in bed cost but it was really cool to have a morning with a good bread and hot chocolate!
However, it made me really disappointed that I had bed bugs in my bed. They bite me 35 times in two nights, which was not cool. I couldn't sleep because of that and I even had to go to pharmacy to buy an anti-itch medicine in Paris. I told it to reception but they didn't do anything. They even didn't change my blanket nor bed so that I had to find an empty bed by myself and ask reception to give me a new blanket again and again.
Everything was perfect and the personal really friendly.
It is very close to the Anvers metro station allowing easy access to the rest of Paris. There is a Franprix grocery store right next to the hostel which is open until 9.30pm and after that there are many convenience stores close by. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a baggage store room you can keep your bags after checkout. The kitchen is well equipped.
I booked a room for three people but whenever there was a traveler that showed up in the middle of the night they would put them in our room. It was very disturbing to have someone come in and switch on the lights at 3am and make their bed. The room was much too small to accommodate a fourth person. The breakfast is quite small and will not fill you. The WiFi connection is weak in the rooms and I got disconnected often. There are no plug points in the room. Only a few downstairs, not enough for everyone to use.
lovely place, nice stuff, relax atmosphere,
Location +++++ 2 min. to Metro Anvers, 5 min. to the train station Gare du Nord, Monmartre and Sacre Coure. Grocery stores nearby. The hostel is clean. Wi-fi everywhere. The staff is very friendly (Mela, Remi, Alessio), helped to take advantage of the printer; decided to stay at the hostel for a few days - extended quickly and easily, in the same room +++. Pleasantly surprised breakfast - delicious (tea, coffee, juice, milk, croissants, rolls, various jams, butter), can be approached repeatedly
Very clean. Everything is new. Very close to metro station. In fact you can use a kitchen any time you need it. Wi-Fi is quite strong. Very comfortable staying in a 4-people bedroom. On the ground floor lockers are available. It is very suitable but it seems there not enough lockers for everyone. Personal are very friendly.
A shower unit is tiny.
Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast and facilities.
My first room's door was broken so I had to move another room.
the staff were unhelpful. The ceiling above the shower was mouldy.
The hostel is one of a kind. EXCELLENT location, 3 supermarkets nearby, amazing team, wonderful breakfast... They even upgraded us! Another thing: we left really really early in the morning (5am) and I spoke to the guy in the reception one night early if we could get some coffee. He not just made us coffee as he gave us croissant!
Price was ok (for Paris), and location convinoent for us.
Room on last floor, and elevator broken.. Poor breakfast, even the number of croissant you could take was limited to 1(!).
The location is good. It is near to some Metro stations. Staff are nice and helpful. They let me check in few hours earlier then the official check in time and arranged the same room for me and my new friend. And they even allowed my friend to check in at 4 a.m. Wi-fi is stable. The room price is not expensive.
The breakfast is a bit simple, they only provide bread and drinks. Although the location is convenient, that area is a bit dangerous for girl who travel alone.
Close to Montmartre, Gare du nord and metro. Good breakfast and nice staff, could definitly stay there again.
The toilet/shower in our room had some flaws but they were renovating all the rooms on our floor so I guess it'll be taken care of soon.
Location near main station breakfast meant could go straight to sites
Workmen outside room every day painting & laying carpets until 6pm - no rest in room until they'd gone.
very convenient location. Close to Gare du Nord and Basilique du Sacré Cœur. good staff.
Just my mood was so bad all 3 days. Just it, noth more
This hostel/hotel is close to Gare du Nord for arrival or departure from Paris on the Eurostar. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bottom floors are the hostel and upper floors are the budget hotel. Stay on the 5th floor and you get a small balcony. The breakfast was continental. You can't beat it for the price.
As expected, the room was small and the bathroom was the same.
