The staff were wonderful, the location was fine for me and close to metro and all the bus lines one needs. The hotel common areas were nicely decorated and charming. The windows were double paned which was great b/c of busy streets nearby, and the entire place was nice and warm. When I asked for a room change after my first night, they were so nice and did it right away. I was disappointed with the quality of my rooms - I had hoped they would be a lot better than they were for $100 per night! My first room had stained wallpaper and peeling floorboards, ugly decor and mold in the shower. The second room they gave me was in better shape but still decor very outdated and shabby, and still had mold in the shower! The hotel needs to fix that - mold is really unacceptable. |

The location. I have been in Cite Universitaire for nearly 2 years and this location me plait Very noisy, even I take the superior room (not standard one), and we close the window. The heating does not work, then we came on October, you can imagine how cold are we in the room, especially after the bath. Not good money value as we have paid the same price in a Munich hotel and the confortabilities are very far from what we have experienced in this hotel. We do not recommend this for anyone take 2-3 days trip to Paris. |

Close to Port d'Orleans metro stop, quiet street, nearby cafes, little markets and two boulangeries. Relatively quiet place. Room was pretty small, but not excessively small compared to other european hotels. Bathroom cleanliness could have been better but okay. |

We where a little worried about staying in Paris for the first time after hearing some of the hotel reports, but I have to say we were very happy with the service received. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the Metro and was very easy to get into the centre of Paris. The car 15 euros a day and was in a underground park and so the car was safe. We would recommend this holiday to anyone looking for nice little hotel which has easy access to the centre. |

very friendly staff, very clean rooms, and secure parking we were lead to believe that a family room would be two joining rooms, instead we had one room with 2 doubles and a single which was a nightmare when trying to get 3 children to sleep. |

the hotel looks renovated - nothing seems to be used, rooms, bedsheats are very clean, cosy. The hotel is just 100 meters from metro Port d'Orleans. We got the discount for room, so the price was very good. |

The hotel is well situated for transport, has nice rooms, an ancient lift that works and good staff who can advise travellers. We loved the local small shops and restaurants, but Montparnasse is around the corner for a wider range at reasonable prices and the Metro (Port D'Orleon) will take you all over Paris |

The personel in the hotel were very friendly and helpfull. Warm and relaxed atmosphere. The Hotel is not too far from a metro station. In one night it was extreemly noisy outside and there was a party somewhere that was very loud and did not stop before 3 am in the morning. The room was clean but extreemly dusty: this would be a problem for peaople who have allergy. The rooms are very small. |

It was an ok hotell for that price-level. The rooms was larger than expected and the staff was mostly nice and helpful. It was very close to the subway and the bus stay right outside the hotel. I would choose this hotel again if I´m going to Paris. Expensive and a little bit to small breakfast. I was traveling with a group of sportsmen and we need a lot of food. So the croiassants was not enough. Fortunately they had some more things to choose from. And there was a supermarket right across the street so we solved the foodproblem. |

The Virginia hotel was nicely situated very close to a busy road with lots of cafes and brasseries. The metro station was also within 3 minutes walking distance. I found the room in need of a good clean. The carpet, curtains and fixtures were dusty and would benefit from thorough cleaning. |

The Virginia was in a very good location. Very close to metro and busses. There was a supermarket half a block away. Family Room for 4 is small but adequate. Staff were very helpful especially with parking our car and holding our luggage. Overall a good value. |

Hotel nereby Metro, easy to find asking in a restaurant. Good for a cheap accomodation in Paris (99 euros). The long face of the guy opening the door during night. It is not possible to have two wake up calls in the morning due to their system. |
