Rooms were clean , staff were friendly
Selection of breakfast was limited n bread served was cold which was a bit of a disappointment
Friendly personnel and general appearance of the place, very clean, nice neighborhood in the 14eme, close to the metro and the RER B.
Vert close to Tram 3
Paris is home to some of the most amazing structures, architecture and places of interest of all times. There is a wealth of knowledge and history within the original city walls.
However Paris has the issues of many cities that are tourist destinations. Cab drivers take you for a "ride" and then charge you extra for the luggage & another person! There is a large gypsy population that are on the streets and they are aggressive in begging. Beware of buying Metro tickets anywhere but in the station. We purchased some in a Tabac shop and they were children's tickets. We were stopped by the police in the underground and had to pay a fine of 33.€ each on the spot!!!!!
The thickness of the walls!!!!!!!
Very Good location, very Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, very clean, quiet hotel.
Good location, very close to Metro station and not far away from the centre. The staff in the reception was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Maria for her engagement and willingness to help.
We’ve ordered a superior twin but the room wasn't spacious at all. The bathroom was equipped with a tiny little bathtub. We couldn't use the shower head as the bath screen had no seal on it and the water leaked on the floor each time we have used it. The TV stopped working the next day we've arrived. They tried to repair it but with no success. Finally they gave us another one. The stylish elevator was so small and always occupied, so we had to use the staircase even when carrying our heavy suitcases. The cleaning lady always left something to be cleaned by us. One day the room wasn't cleaned at all. Finally they tried to charge us three times more then they should for printing a copies of our boarding cards we have ordered at the reception desk the day earlier.
It is near to the Metro
- dirty blanket cover - poor breakfast and too crowded. The space for breakfast is too small. - the bed size : 120cm for 2 person.
One staff member at the weekend was very helpful & friendly.
The room was very small & the bathroom was like a box. Not sure if that room is reserved for Booking.com customers only but was very disappointed.
several stores by the hotel; Three minuts walk to metro line4; friendly staff; can speak English; peaceful neibourhood
Tiny rooms; tiny bathroom; blanket is not comfortable; bed is small
Room was very, very small! Had to go outside to change your mind! No room for luggage. If I had known this it would have influenced our decision. Bathroom was miniscule! No tea/coffee making facilities, no where to iron clothes. Should have booked a superior room.
Very cosy, friendly, clean and pleasant.
The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and quiet. Only 25 mins by metro to Eiffel Tower. Check in and check out were a breeze and let us leave cases there on day we checked out.
We arrived and was given room 101 which was a disabled room, this wasn't a problem but looked and no safe as mentioned when booking. Told reception who didn't believe me, the receptionist and manager then explained that they were trying to locate a security box to put in our room. This took 30 mins and then decided they would move us to room 502.. well i say room, was extremely cramped and the bathroom was no more than a 5 foot wide and 4 foot in length There was no apology for this, actually seemed we was causing issues for them All these issues meant it took an hour off time we had to explore Paris
The staffs there had very strange attitude to customers. When I asked for direction, one of the staffs yielded at me for not following what he just said. When we asked for stores to buy adaptor, one of the staffs replied with No No. So we eventually found a store to purchase what we needed by ourselves.
Very friendly and professional staff at reception. Friendly lady at breakfast
Mold in the bathroom Small rooms
Close to metro station Very calm area Quiet rooms
Outer part of Paris, but compensated by close location to metro
great lift, helpful staff, wonderful view, great cable with BBC and other english options
wish there were a coffee maker in the room
location - 2 minutes from Port d'Orleans metro 24 hour reception, luggage storage good Wifi connection price paid (75 Euro for single room)
Wonderful friendly helpful staff, great location with a lot of food places and bakeries nearby. Clean and comfortable.Metro is just up the road and you will be anywhere in the city within 15 mins
The layout of the bathroom
The breakfast was very nice, although I prefer a buffet style breakfast which I find easier and better if you're in a hurry. The location was good, very close to Metro station, about 15-20 minutes to the center. The area is more residential so not much going on. There are a few restaurants but not very cheap. Better to take the metro and eat somewhere else. There is 2 supermarkets nearby, one is just beside the hotel, a Lidl store, a post office and a Subway nearby. All in all I had a very nice stay, the staff is very friendly and helpful. No problems with English we asked for tips for cheap good restaurants with french food and it was a very good tip! :)
The room was a little dissapointing since the pictures on the website show the Superiour rooms (which we had) as a room with space and our room was slightly cramped and the interior didn't feel very fresh. I know it's in Paris so big rooms are very rare but I think that the pictures shouldn't show only those rooms since it is slightly misleading. They also forgot to replace some of the towels when they cleaned. One thing that I missed was a electric water kettle so you can make coffe/tea but that is more of a suggestion. :)
everything was fine
The room is very very small. No place even to keep the luggage. Toilet is very small. Cant even sit in the toilet. Lift is very slow and only one person can travel with luggage. Wifi is strong only in the rooms near to lift. In other rooms it is very very poor. Not at all worthy for money. You can find many good hotels for such a high price. You need to pay extra for getting rooms with bath tub. One of the worst hotel i have stayed.
Easy access to public transports. Shops, supermarkets, places to eat ,... were all within walking distance.
Lift was quite small.
Very close to metro station. There is a big supermarket nearby and some restaurants. Very good breakfast. Very helpful personnel on reception
Small elevator. Has only 80cm x 80cm
This hotel has a great location, close to metro and trams. The staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English( as my French is quiet rusty!) quiet, clean and comfy rooms. would certainly stay on my next trip.
