The room was a little drab and older feeling than it looked in comparison to the photos online. Housekeeping did not replace the bath toiletries (shampoo, soap) during our 4 night stay. We were required to leave our room key at the front desk when leaving the hotel to site see, which felt a little odd, but it was a 24 hour desk and we didn't have to worry about keeping up with it that way at least, so we didn't really mind.
We had a double room with a private bathroom and balcony, which was comfortable, although the room was small (which is to be expected in Paris). The lift is small, and our room was on the sixth floor, which was not a problem, as we don't mind stairs, but for someone with disabilities or who doesn't like stairs, you may want to take this into consideration. The staff was friendly, the ground floor was nice and well decorated, and the hotel cat, Romero, was fun to see as we came and went. We enjoyed having the balcony and outdoor space it provided. It was in a good location to walk to a lot of sites.
