Rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced which we didn't expect. The location close to metro stations and restaurants was very convenient. The beds were very comfy too - essentially we got a lot more than we expected considering how cheap it was!
Our room was at the opposite end of the hotel to the shares toilet, which was a bit of a pain, and there were no international tv channels (we hoped for the world service to get some news) but these really are minor.
the bed is bad, should not have plastic bed protection. i suggest to remove .
1. Location very near metro 2. Nearby interesting boutique shopping arcade walkways
1. Room walls were thin. Could hear people in the hallway outside using the shared toilets
The location was great, very close to L`Opera and the Louvre.
great location nice staff excellent Wifi
Great location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable.
Asked to change room to a refurbished room (room 39) and it was really good. Excellent value all in all. Staff were really helpful, good location, clean hotel, rooms have character and a friendly cat in the lobby. I'd go back.
Position (near city center) and Personnel (very kind and available all days)
The room was too humid (it gives two minutes with thwe window closed to get a terrible smell of humidity) and the toilet is on the other part of the floor
Near the Metro. Great location. Friendly staff. The cat.
Experienced noise at night.
Clean and tidy. Nice helpful staff. Good value for Paris.
Tiny shower but everything was really really clean!
Location good for local cafes. Reasonably priced for a Paris hotel. Friendly staff.
Choice of having window closed in small air-less room, or being kept awake til 5am by 'Chez Carmen' night club. (Rooms at back of hotel were not available). Having to go down the corridor for the toilet. Dingy décor.
Excellent, friendly staff. Great Location
The hotel is near to lots of bars, cafes and restaurants but is in a quiet street. You are within walking distance of all the main attractions or you can jump on the very nearby metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful, we were able to store our bags in reception before check in and head out and explore, when we came to our rooms our bags had been brought up for us. Our room had a bath which was very nice and the room itself was a very good size with lots of storage space. We also had a fan in the room which was brilliant as it was quite warm during our stay.
The wifi could be better, poor connection and sometimes you couldn't pick it up to connect. In our room we were overlooked by other windows on both sides, but this wasn't too much of a problem as we weren't there during the day and they had thick curtains for the evening.
the Vivianne is located in one of the best spots ever in Paris, very close from the palais royal, the louvre..., Loved everything, the people, the room, the view, the sleepy cat, I will be back for sure, thank you V.
Lovely receptionist, Veronique, the most nice. The others just speak the essential, even when we ask for information, they don't talk to much. The localization, 2 minutes walk from 2 different Metro stations. If you want, you can even walk to Opera and the principal monuments. Excellent view.
The sheets had a pink stain (seemed washed blood), but in the moment that we report, they immediately changed it. When the bodywash ends, they don't put more, unless you ask. Terrible breakfast. We just tried it once, and in the other days we ate at "Patisseries".
Location, staff were great
Location was great. Near two different Metro lines/stations, beside the Galleries/covered arcades, within walking distance of the Louvre and other sites. Comfortable and spacious accommodations, and good breakfast. Clean. Good wifi connection and free-to-use computer in lobby for guests. Hotel also happy to store luggage for late departures and don't mind you sitting in the lobby till it is time to leave. Also very near some good restaurants.
Staff was friendly, helpful and spoke english (they saved our train tickets for us when we accidentally left them behind in the room) Great Location Balcony
Can be noisy at night outside Elevator is tiny
It is clean
The acces to WIFI
Very good staff. Well able to talk to visitors. Very easy to talk to knows very good English and he's funny too :) no problem with anything. Very nice and polite. Nice stay. Also clean and close everywhere if you don't mind to walk.
The hotel has an excellent location, situated in close proximity to both the Metro and various restaurants and bars. The travel time to landmarks and attractions was minimal using the metro, and the total travel time (including walking and changing) to Disneyland Paris did not exceed an hour.
The staff at the hotel are superb. All very friendly and accommodating. The location is good, close to the louvre and walkable to all the major sites. There is also a velib station at the door of the hotel which we used and liked. Our room was spacious with en suite. The reception was very modern and welcoming and rooms were very clean. Would stay again.
The only slight negative on the hotel was the security. Our balcony door (the balcony was shared by other rooms as far as we could tell) was left open twice by the cleaner although none of our belongings had been touched. This wouldn't put me off staying again.
The staff were really helpful and attended to any requests you asked for.
Was a little cold in the rooms and the radiators didn't work. But a extra blanket was provided in the rooms. Also, there is a cat which lays in the lobby which can give the impression of uncleanliness.
Hotel Vivienne is quaint, cute and homey. The rooms aren't big but if you're just there to sleep, it is perfect. It's clean, they make the beds everyday and provide linens and soap. The shower was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked perfectly. If you get back late at night there is a doorbell you have to ring to be let back in (which made us feel secure at night). The location was great- walking distance to many attractions including Norte Dame and Le Lourve. The concierges were incredibly helpful with directions, suggestions where to go, and all spoke English well. We didn't try the breakfast but there are many crepe and coffee places around.
The shower was in room and the toilet is down the hall but it wasn't an inconvenience for us.
