Noise outside, not the fault of anyone at Vivienne.

The hotel has character, it's not a bland chain but full of the idiosyncrasies of a Parisian hotel.

Stuff was very friendly. As long as you at least try to speak french everybody is very helpful. The hotel is very central and one is able to walk to most of the attractions. Rooms are small but clean.

The staff were excellent. The main receptionist was very friendly and helpful.They were also fantastic with small children and also very helpful with information/directions. Coffee was divine! Would definately stay here again.

Location is good, but this is the only good thing to say.

We booked a 'Double room - Comfort' via Booking.com with a discount. When we arrived we were given a 'Double room - Standard' at the same price. When we complained about this mistake to hotel staff, they said that they could do nothing and even did not apologise. We asked to talk to hotel manager, but he never returned to us. As the result we stayed at the hotel for one night and in the morning we found another one which was much better and which we strongly recommend - Hotel de Suede Saint-Germain.

Loud noise through till dawn (Fri-Sat) from nightclub opposite!- So changed to back of hotel for last 2 nights. Telephone out of order in (quiet)room at back. No muesli available for breakfast.

Disregard the choice of whether or not the center of the city while in the hotel.

front desk service was very bad. cleaning was bad, the hotel had a bad odor. 1 person was getting hard to lift with suitcase. the rooms are very small and unusable. parking costs 36 euro per day. definitely not a hotel proposed.

The stuff was helpful, the value for money and overall the location, so close to the main landmarks and underground as well. Really nice area full of Restaurants , Cafés and pubs with a nice environment.

It is a highly recommended hotel for a weekend if i have to say something that i didn't like it was the lift, it is really tiny but the hotel really worth.

The location is extremely good. You can walk 10 mins to the Opera or the Louvre. There are metro 8 and 9 nearby. There are also many bars, cafes and convenient stores. There is a small street neaby full of restaurants, where the price is very cheap compared to the average standard of Paris and the food is still very good. The furniture in the room is new, and the heating is very good. It is cleaned daily. The staff are very nice. They also have a big male cat. I have been living in a 3 star hotel in Paris before, and I think Vivienne is better in almost all aspects than the former one. So I will recommend this hotel strongly.

Location. Short walk to metro. Plenty of surrounding cafes, bars, shops.

Not having a toilet in the en suite, it was shared along the hall.

It was very clean and staff were very polite and helpful. It was ideal for an overnight stop in Paris, and the location was good - close to 2 Metro stations and only a short walk from the Louvre Museum.

Our room didn't have a toilet; there was a shared facility down the hall. (Some rooms do have a WC though). The elevator was incredibly small due to the nature of the building, but this simply meant multiple trips with our luggage.

Perfect location, you can walk downtown.

The view from our room wasn't that pretty. We looked at a wall and could only see the back yard.

It was a vary good Hotel in a good neighbourhood. Nice restaurants and Metro nearby, also the parking place was nearby. We enjoy oure stay very much.

Walkable to Louvre. Near a major area of shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was modern and clean.

Had to share a toilet with my room selection but very minor negative since away from hotel much of day.

The big lazy cat :). The location is excellent, staff are so kind.

French tradition, the use overlay on bed but they don't use white blanket, I was surprised first time when I saw it. Overlay is fancy in all hotel, but my opinion the don't clean it after all guest, because of overlay is too expensive to drop out after some number of wash. So overlay what only you can use for sleep is sometimes hmm, not enough clean in hotels. I don't understand this tradition.

Very good location (near the metro, the Grevin museum and a lot of restaurants), easy public parking nearby (on payment), nice staff, rather big size room. We've had a very convenient family room. Excellent value for money.
