This is not a "hotel." It is a real estate office that rents apartments for their owners. Our studio apartment was well located and it was clean and comfortable. Our apartment was very basic and much less attractive than the pictures shown on the At Home Hotel website. After we arrived we learned that we must sign a 4-page contract written in French. The also tried to increase the agreed-upon 300 Euro security deposit to 500 Euros after our arrival. We were also surprised to learn that we were responsible for cleaning the apartment.

The people I went with!!!! And that it had a nice kitchen. There was no elevator and the staircase is a trap in disguise. No A.C. No door on the bathroom wich is terrible even if you're travelling with family! The T.V. didn't work. The floor was dirty as if hey only swept it but didn't bother to mop it.

Do not like at all. Stay only for less than an hour and went on searching for another hotel. Environment not conducive, near rubbish bin, no lift and narrow staircase. Hard time carried our baggages up and down. Dark and narrow corridor. Interior does not matched photos posted on web site. The worse thing was the main door has a faulty lock and was very difficult to unlock. Felt very insecure fearing that we might be locked outside room.

The location was fairly central, which was good. The staff at Absolu Travel were brilliant, particularly Simon. Very accommodating - 5-star customer service. The apartment is a 4-story walk-up. This was not mentioned in the online ad or by the Absolu Travel/At-Home Hotel staff at any stage that I can recall. This was a huge issue for us after a long plane flight with 2 young kids and 10 pieces of luggage. I wouldn't have booked this apartment if I'd know this. This detail should be included in the online description of the apartment. Although it is listed as being able to accommodate up to 4 people, it really is a bit tight for 4. It's really only suitable for 3. Sleeping is OK, but cooking, eating, living arrangements get a bit "close". There was no fire escape that I could locate. This caused us a bit of concern, particularly being on the 4th floor. There was no air conditioning n the apartment. This made sleeping difficult because the weather was hot, there was only one fan, and we couldn't leave the windows open due to the traffic noise. The pillows supplied were incredibly uncomfortable, but we stayed in a range of accommodation options across Europe and the UK, and this seemed to be common unfortunately.

Its not a hotel. Its just an apartment. They block deposit 300-500 EURO on your credit card and you are not sure that they will unblock it and return your money back. And when you are leaving you have to clean the apartment by yourself or if not they will charge 40 EURO from your account and not letting you know it. Anyway if they are not satisfied with the way you cleaned the apartment, they will charge you. So never ever!!!

We loved our apartment, especially the terrace! What a beautiful way to have our children experience Paris. The location was great as there were plenty of places to eat, supermarkets just downstairs and of course the Metro. At first the instructiins for the hotplate were incorrect so we couldn't get it to work, but once the staff rewrote them my wife cooked beautiful meals that we ate on the terrace, such a delight!

The staff is friendly, and right on the corner there was a 8-24 hour market. I think we got the worst apartment (Volta), to judge from the pictures on internet. Really small, some walls tearing apart, funghi in bathroom. The worst: it was supposed to be a "comfort 1 bedroom apartment", but the bedroom was not so: only a short separation between a doble bed and the rest of the place. So, we were 2 couples, and it felt like sleeping altogether. Try not to get the Volta apartment if you look for some privacy. And if you check out on Sunday, the agency is closed and there's nowhere to leave you luggage if your plane is in the afternoon. Also, they ask for 500 euro deposit, leaving it "open" in your credit card, not knowing if something is going to be charge. I do not recommend it.

The location. To have to leave a deposit of 500 Euros, and not knowing for two weeks if they are going to apply any charges... it is very uncomfortable.

We liked a city location. The appartment was also very well equiped (including free internet access). Friendly reception. Firstly we were sent to an apartment that was still occupied, so they provided us with another place immediately. Still the feeling was a bit strange about this incident.

The localization is excelente, with lots of restaurants, commerce and transports. Good to go out for a walk in the centre of Paris. Well equiped and a good bathroom and a view to rue S.Martin. A very good choice.

nice but very small apartment in center of paris around the corner of les halls and centre pompidou. Friendly people at the office. Location +++ small expensive apartment, it says for 3 persons, but its already small for 2 persons! only one bed and one sleeping couch. shower water was either very cold or boiling hot (could not be adjusted). warm apartment with fans in the room, but when windows are open there is a lot of street-noise. A few hours before arrival there was a problem, because they reserve deposit from credit card, but used the wrong expiry date.... which at the end was taken care of (but with lots of stress/phone calls) when we were there people tried to break into the main building, door/lock was forced. (apartment is in building with normal residential apartments) Fortunately the locks on the door of the apartment were very good.

At Home Hotel has different apartments for rent. The one in "Rue Vertbois" has a good location, near metro's and city center (Marais/les Halles). Plus: a comfortable double bed. At Home Hotel has different apartments for rent. The one in "Rue Vertbois" has nothing 'cosy' or 'at home'. It is a cheap, ugly decorated, small space. Wifi is unreliable. Not a nice play to stay. Fine for sleeping only.

Good alternative to hotel, especially when traveling as family. Although during booking it was mentioned that there was free wifi available, there was not. There was no possibility to leave the key of the room at the location. Therefore we were obliged to return to the agency. At that rate the "At Home Hotel" should be including final cleaning if rented for 3 nights.

Very good location. Comfortable and nicely decorated. To access the apartment you have to walk down a dark corridor and then go up a shabby staircase. Not very welcoming. The apartment in itself was nice, but the toilet had no door! It was separated from the living area by a fabric curtain.

The apartment was beautiful and modern in style, but showing off the period features of the building it was in. The furniture suited the place really well too. It was a lovely environment to stay in. Having to clean the place as we left, but we knew that when we booked!

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
