Excellent location, a good restaurant and service overall. The hotel would need a renovation, the building itself is marvellous but not in good shape any longer. |

From the monent of arrival, until our departure, we were greeted with friendliness, courtesy, and nothing was too much trouble for all the staff we met. The West End of Nice is as expensive as the rest of the Riviera - the costs of extras therefore was high. |

Excellent location. Our de-luxe room was on the small side and did question with reception whether it was actually a de-luxe room that we had been allocated as per our booking! Felt that the room was really a double room only. |

views from hotel were magnificent. The hotel had a feeling of faded gentlity. clear signs of habbiness in both bathroom and room. Tears on the wallpaper and cracks on bathroom floor.Horl is badly in need of a makeover. |

Charming old hotel at the promenade in Nice, ideally situated close to the old city centre, and with a seafront view of the beach The pigeons at breakfast is very disturbing, landing in swarms at the breakfast tables while you are eating. Neighbouring hotels have installed ultrasound equipment to keep them off. |

Perfect location right in the middle of Promenade de Anglais. Beautifully presented hotel and gorgeous views when opting for a seaview room. Was great having a fridge in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Although TV was not high priority on this trip would have been nice to have had satellite television as channels were limited. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice in the room too. However these are observations and not complaints. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. |

The room provided an excellent viewing point, particularly early morning and late afternoon. Good position on Prom Des Ang to move into old town and backstreets for cheaper, but equally good food. Yes. The silly price for breakfast, in the current climate of euro exchange. There was no indication of reduction, for example if 5 or 7 breakfasts were taken, as a loyalty bonus. 22 euros was the most expensive we came across and did not participate as a consequence. |

It was a fabulous location and good value for the money compared to other hotels next to it. We loved our balcony on the corner 6th floor, great view. The lobby was nice too. The handheld shower did not have a holder for a standup shower. There were broken fixtures in the bathroom. Instead of removing or repairing broken stuff they put a replacment fixture, but left broken stuff too. |

We booked two rooms and our own room was excellent with beautiful direct sea views. The second room although similar in price was not at the same level, being dark and with no views. mini bar expensive, tea and coffee making facilities would make a british visitor more comfortable. |

It was very well located on the beach and made access to the Cote d Azur for day trips quite simple. The front desk staff were very helpful to us on many occasions and very patient with us. The room service was a bit slack. No tea and coffee facilites were provided and they didnt replenish the supplies often enough. Use of the hotel beach was charged at 17 euro (pretty expensive). |
