Beautiful building, nice lifts, nice breakfast room, good location, friendly staff. Lounge area rather dull and uninviting. No newspapers or interesting magazines available. |

Not much....I would not stay again although the staff were helpful. The rooms are very poor, the beds inexcusable, the decor tired and the entire hotel needs modernisation if it si to retain 4 stars. |

Location was excellent just minutes from the main street and the beach. Staff in the restaurants were particularly good, food to was first class Rather staid and 'traditional' in its approach with lots of elderly people around (including me!) |

Wonderful hotel - an upgrade when we arrived to a beautiful room. Staff are very attentive, booked restuarants and arranged flowers in room. Great location for shopping and gourmet restuarants. Nice seating area in front of hotel to have a drink and watch the world go by Non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms next door to each other. A non-smoking floor might be better. |

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and would have no hesitation to recommend it for service, comfort location etc. With the change in the value of sterling against the euro it tends to be slightly more expensive. |

I like the public areas of the hotel and the rooms and bath were good. Historic hotel with furnishings in keeping with this, staff were accommodating and room was ready early and we were permitted to check out late. The bar prices, had a drink there on two evenings but not on the third as the glass of wine was 6 euro and the serving was smaller on the second night. Wine in town at good restaurants was half this price. |

It was very relaxing and it felt very welcoming. We really enjoyed using the pool as this was not busy. Breakfast was good. |

It was clean and no noise. Beds were comfortable and huge but just a bit drab really. Shabby chic comes to mind. Definately wouldn't class this as 4 star, more like 3. Rooms large and airy, big comfy bed but bathroom was old and not a proper shower (hand held over the bath). For the price we paid it didn't seem worth it |

Fantastic hotel. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English. The Spa treatments were excellent. Good value (for a hotel) with it's internet access. The pool was a little too small to swim properly, especially with the shallow end being very shallow. In the room, the television was locked into the hotel's system. I was therefore unable to switch it's input to av3 to view films off my iPod. |

1930s grandeur but modern luxury. A relaxing, beautiful hotel perfectly located for the main street and beach. Staff brilliant. Breakfast superb. |

The hotel is in an excellent position near the shops, restaurants and a short walk from the promenade. The building is extremely impressive, architecturally very attractive, standing on a wide sweeping boulevade. Rooms are comfortable. The staff were very attentive. we will definitely go back. |

Sheer grandeur of the building and can do attitude of all the staff. We were put in the attic rooms which were lovely but it was so very hot it was almost impossible to sleep. |

Good location, spacious rooms and public areas. Popular bar and terrace. Bedrooms are tired. Communal areas need a revamp. Breakfast poor by luxury hotel standards. |

The room was not very nice, it was not up to five star standard. I have stayed in lots of other places with lesser stars that were much nicer.Very pricey, evening meal was very nice but very expensive for what it was. The service was excellent, our friends stayed there at the same time as us and paid 100 euros more for the same room. France has overpriced itself. |
