+ There is a metro station nearby + There are a lot of restauraunts nearby and in most of them the menu is also in english + Staff speak english well + Room was clean + Room had a bath
- The room had no AC. Was not a problem for us as we stayed in September, but could ba an issue if you are staying during the summer -Smallish rooms, ok if you have only carry on ludgage, but could be problematic, if you have more ludgage - No english channels on the TV (if you care about that sort of stuff) - The hotel is a little bit run down. It could use a little renovation.
Didnt like noise from park and noise from staff on second night pressure cleaning the awnings at 10.00pm.
Our room was long and narrow, with two large windows looking out onto a small children's playground.
It was very noisy; it seems streetpeople and young people congregate in the park and the sounds funnelled up to our windows. Exciting but not conducive to sleep.
The view from my bedroom windows. A dear little Italian restaurant very close by, a lively bistro and a park for a picnic lunch, all just out or across the road.
The location close to Cadet metro was excellent, easy to get to Louvre, Pont Neuf etc. Comfortable beds, good bathroom
The lift opened to a rather hair raising narrow step halfway up stairs but at least it HAD a lift!
Located in a relatively calm neighborhood, near three metro stops, terrific restaurants and the big department stores. Kind, helpful and cheerful staff. Very clean and well maintained. Reasonably priced. Working lift.
The breakfast room, like many today, has a sachet-type machine for coffee, which motivated me to go out for breakfast as cafés still brew coffee and provide at least a window view of Paris. Also, the park across the street, Place Montholon, is a lovely, leafy spot but can be noisy with children playing in the morning and revelers partying late at night (perhaps that's only during World Cup, though).
Can not offer hot water.
Quiet, good local facilities
Very firm beds
No air con Smelly room Rude staff Block shower room and broken glass shower door
1) Room was dirty, small and shower was broken, nothing in the room worked, we were very disappointed with it, That was the worst hotel we have ever stayed, our bathroom is bigger at home then the room we got! Simply awful. Booking.com should check this place out, the pictures are fake and the room we had was -100 stars
Room basic but clean. Room made up each day with fresh towels. Bathroom seemed like it had been recently modernised. Good breakfast available. Close to Metro train station and great restaurants. Try Hugo's nearby.
Clean and did the job. If you want a bit more luxury may not be the right choice for you.
Our room (35) was quite basic, the shower was a very small unit. No air-con but fan provided.
The windows overlooking the park
The room was quite dirty (walls and chair) The shower leaked badly Basic breakfast Outdated decor
nobody bothered us
Location and help from the front desk was very good. Quiet street with park directly across. Nice to sleep with window open
Elevator use due to spiral staircase.
Very handy for the metro and shopping at Lafayette General
Breakfast was expensive for what was provided
Location: Close to Metro and walking distance to major attractions, shopping, and a good choice of restaurants. Breakfast was worthwhile.
Could get noisy outside at times.
Location is right at the Opera district
Very old hotel with small room. Dirty bed cover with stink, old blanket in dirty green color, floor carpet at least 50 years old. No air condition in summer days, need to open window to get fresh air. Then, flies every where. Staff is very rude and not being helpful.
They put a fan in the room as it was hot in Paris.
A small bathtub with no shower curtain so very difficult to take a shower. Very dated furniture and pictures on the website are very good compare to reality.
Convenience to Metro Reasonable priced restaurants Hotel breakfast reasonably priced considering it's a buffet Within walking distance of major attractions.
It can get noisy outside on occasion. Had to improvise for missing bath drain plug.
very noisy in square outside at night, people playing football till very late
The location of the hotel is good, very near to the metro station. And the hotel staff helped us to storage the luggages after we checked out. The staffs in the hotel is helpful and nice.
The room is quite small, and there is a "old" smelling in the room.
The staff was incredibly helpful about everything. The room was clean. The location is AWESOME. There's a small park next to it where you can go out for a coffee in the morning, and a small cafe/restaurant around the corner for an evening drink. Walking distance to metro and Gare St. Lazare. Markets nearby where you can get whatever you need. A convenient hotel for a leisure trip in Paris.
Rooms are a bit tiny and there is noise from the street but I s'pose that's central Paris for you.
I like PAris and location of this hotel is good because I always live in this district.
The staff of this hotel. We had a very unpleasant situation with payment. We reserved a nomber and booking.com took money for reservation but didn't return them. And receptionist was very ungry because I wanted to know where is my payment. He cried and was very unpleasant told that don't like Russian that always had problems.
