I liked the location of the hotel, it is very good.
The hotel it self, the spaces and management of the same, is not good. If you go out of the elevator, you might trip cause the exit is exactly in the stairs. There is a small sign advising to be careful but not big enough. Plus, the staff is not friendly... They never smile. Rooms are very tiny, you can barely move, is not comfortable for 2 people at all... And wi fi is payed, which I find really wrong considering that the wi fi service is very bad. It doesn't connect properly and when it does, is super slow.
Our room was in 6th floor and the wi-fi did not worked at all... We complaint 3 times but they did not help us and they charged us for this.
L'hotel is in a really nice and central neighborhood. 10 min walking from Lafayette and less than 10 min walking from Gare du Nord. Location wise is the best hotel in Paris I have been in all those years. The cleaning was really attentive, all the towels changed every single day. One only thing not up to 2015 is the WiFi not free of charge and the furniture of the room a little outdated, but for the rest it is better than lots of 4 stars I have been! Good job !
WiFi not free of charge
Very good location (between two subway stations)
Very tight places (corridor, elevator, room itself)
Good location. You can literally walk to EVERYWHERE. Galeries Lafayette. Hard Rock Cafe. Opera. Gare du Nord. Hotel is very close to the Metro and lots of eateries. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Towels were changed everyday. Toile was clean and spacious.
The stairs. The winding stairs. Its a challenge with big luggages so beware.
Location was really convenient. Metro station just around the corner but we were able to walk to all of the sights and see more of Paris that way. Area felt safe. View of park was lovely. Clean with great shower. Comfort was pretty good considering how little we paid.
There is a lift but it's accessed on every floor by a couple of steps. Staff weren't unfriendly but no real welcome or info booklet in room.
Good sized bathroom and bedroom.
The mattress was uncomfortable.
We like the location. Easy to get to the hotel from local metros. Staff were pleasant. Cosy and clean the room.
Only let down was having to pay for wifi.
Staff able to speak basic english. Smooth check-in/check-out. Accommodation was fairly decent. Heaters was working fine. Overall value for money for those travelling solo or couple.
Bathroom had no floor trap, thus had a minor flood after every shower session. Can be improved.
the lady receptionist was very helpful
the diagrams of how to get there were very misleading, we went by metro as directed by "how to get to the hotel" when all we needed to do is to walk the 8mins straight to our hotel
good location for Eurostar and walking distance for most sights.
People from reception very helpful
Globally the building need urgent facelift, it is old
Very clean, but basic hotel Good value Good location to see city from Quiet - away from hustle and bustle
Friendly staff, gond location, close tó city center
Small room ( we've been in 14) they dont joking with heating, it was too hot in the room
good position and nice hotel! Good for an holyday with friends! :)
We liked the area and neighborhood. There were nice little restaurants and the hotel is only a few blocks from the metro or train station.
location, close to metro
leaky shower, no room at side of bed
No tea and coffee facilities in the room, no toaster for bread at breakfast.
very small room Poor facilities or no facilities noisy surroundings, bad signal on tv smelly blankets, tiny shower staff had no tourist information
Not a lot
Extremely tiny shower and shower door opening. Very dim lighting. Lots of small step levels within the ground floor which is awkward when you are pulling your bags.
Location was very good and the rooms were clean and shower was very good. For the price paid and location is is a very good hotel to tour Parismand there are numerous bars and restaurants in the area.
Bedroom was small with no tea making facilities, and there was no real bar area to sit and have a drink. Would recommend visitors to have breakfast outside the hotel as the breakfast area was very small and in the basement!
Was on the 2nd floor bathroom was pretty big, noise in the day , very quiet at night .park across the road, rooms clean, would go back again . location perfect. Everything nearby.
Hairdryer in bathroom broke.
Close to Metro Station
1. No air-con 2. The elevators only take you to a spiral stairs. So you need to carry your luggages for at least half floor of stairs. 3. Gangsters in the park at night just opposite to the hote.
