Clean, quiet and great value for money. Would highly recommend
Excellent location, confortable beds, clean, big room, nice decoration.
Expensive for be like a B&B.
The bed was really comfortable and the decor is very cute. Our double room was spacious. Even though we chose the room without a toilet it was only 2 doors down.
Too many stairs! This won't bother you if you are fit. Being in the centre was great but traffic and people yelling until 4 or 5 in the morning made it hard to sleep. I couldn't close my window because it was too hot and no air con.
Location very easy to go anywhere..n ok for value of money
Carrying da luggage to 3 floor..bit old n more can b done on cleaning
No silent room!!a lot of stair(third floor!!)-I found a hair on my pillow!budget hotel.
No lift, no air-con, no english-speaking staff!!
Not very clean
Only one thing : Locationa
The Service was very bad.
The location was perfect! Staff was very friendly and helpful and they speak a very clear English. We really liked the furniture and all decorations details. It gives you a very warm feeling. I would stay there again!
Stairs ! There was no elevator and it was a bit tiring to drag the luggage through the stairs.
Great location near shops and beach. Extremely frendly owner Jean-Marie. Small, but very interesting looking rooms and breakfast room with all kind of art. We missed only the fridge, ventilator and more shelves in the room. We will come back someday!!!
Third floor without an elevator and the heavy bags were killing us, almost. But the hallway was beautiful!
Handy for: buses, restaurants, shopping. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
The hotel was on the third floor of the building, with no lift this was quite tiring after a hot day! If you have a room on the front of the building there is a lot of street noise.
Awesome location right near the old town. Friendly and helpful staff. Great price!
No air con in the rooms so we opened the window which let in a lot of noise from below
Good location. Close to main street and a short walk to the sea. Friendly staff who were very welcoming. Good size room.
No lift and on third floor.
We knew what we paid for and that was somewhere comfortable to sleep and close to everything. Hotel Wilson was just that at a really good price. We were a short 5-10 minute walk to the old town, shops and beach front. Our room with private bathroom was quirky and quite clean.
No fan or air-conditioning
Great location in the middle of jean medecin for shopping and the old town for shopping and the beach. The room was clean and the owner was friendly!
Room was quite warm at night- no AC or fan. Opening the windows for a breeze allows you to hear the noise from the street below. No sink in communal bathroom- have to return to room to wash hands
Hotel is right near the main square, room was quirky and nicely furnished with a little balcony too. Bins were emptied and beds done every day which I thought was good for a budget hotel.
Wifi wasn't amazing and went off a few times, staff don't speak English which was a little confusing on the first day but not a major issue.
Great, quirky, very friendly, helpful, interesting and slap bang dead central
Location is great, beach and old town is nearby in walking distance, style of the hotel is nice, the room was clean and also the shared toilette
It is on the third floor and there is no elevator, so if you have lots of heavy bag it is a bit challenging:)
Good if you just want to go to sleep in the room. Position. Interaction with the staff.
A great location. Walking distance to everything you need.
Mosquitoes were a problem when I was there.
We only stayed two nights as we were passing through Nice. It was exactly what we needed for the stopover, but I wouldn't stay for a week - you get what you pay for, of course. Good points: - good location, easy to walk to the old town and the sea front - very cheap - friendly staff - perfectly adequate room and facilities - great boutiquey decor - beautiful old building
- our room was on the street side, which was very noisy at night. - there was no aircon, but because the street was so loud (even with earplugs in), we had to have the windows closed at night. It was pretty sweaty! - the towel provided smelled of damp before I used it, and wasn't replaced after I left it on the floor (which a note prompted you to do if you wanted a fresh one).
The room is small but clean and nicely decorated. Good location, 5 minutes walk to the square, and 10 - 15 minutes walk to the beach. It is a basic budget hotel and good value for money, and the decoration of the hotel is nice:)
The shower tub is a bit too small. Can hardly move or else would hit the glass door, but the hot water supply was good and stable. There were only 2 staff working in the hotel and they would not be there after 7 or 8 pm, so visitors are better make sure they have everything they need before the evening. This hotel is located on the 3rd floor and there isn't a lift so there would be quite a lot of stairs climbing. It didn't matter to me and my friend as we didn't have any large suitcase, but it may be a problem to travellers who have difficulty to climb stairs. Also, I have requested 2 single beds on my booking and we were given one double bed and an extra bed which did make some noise when someone moves during their sleep, and obviously it's not so comfy as the double bed in the room, but that's not a big problem to me.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, but in two steps from the very city center. We really enjoied our bedroom, very comfortable and nice. Wi-fi connection was excellent, we watched a couple of mouvies without problems. Hotel design is very interesting and beautiful, many paintings, pictures and other sweet things. There are also many books in different languages, so easy to find something to take on the beach :-)
Easy to reach from train station by tram.
Pretty noisy during the night as it faces a busy street. The motorcycle rushed along the street making terrible noise. I asked for a quiet room in the booking but eventually I still got a room facing to the street. It is not very reasonable to have no private toilet in the room with 60 euros per night.
Very good position, near Vieille Nice. Room clean and staff helpful.
