This is the best B&B we stayed in. The room was well appointed and very clean. Our host, Hilton, was very accommodating and gave some great advice on travelling around the area. Breakfast was great. There were several restaurants in walking distance and it wasn’t far to walk to Bowness on Windermere. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay at 1 Park Road.

Rooms also offer hot chocolate, a variety of Fair Trade teas and fresh milk. The en suite showers have complimentary soaps and shampoos. Your accommodations does include a complimentary breakfast each day. There are many beautiful walks around the property; there is even a treasure hunt on one of them. Good local restaurants and bars can be found in the area.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip.
