Everything was close to the property, eateries ,shops, lots of walking if you enjoy walking, coffee shops, the Long Walk, Eton and walking along the river Thames. Also good bus connections to Legoland outside the Castle. Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like.

Windsor is such a lovely town.
Windsor is such a lovely town. Even though it seems crowned with tourists during day time but evening and dinner time was quite calm up. We went in Febuary so the sun set so fast people tend to stay in the hotel. we had Nando's chicken which is really good. The Macdonal hotel we were staying located in great location, nice staff, and nice accomodation.
There are many more places to visit not just the Windsor Castle. This town has many more to offer. If you love historical but with city vibes. Windsor is a good choice.

There is nothing to dislike about Windsor.
There is nothing to dislike about Windsor. It is packed full of history including not only the castle but also The Long Walk, Windsor Great Park, the shortest street in England and centuries old pubs.
There are an array of good eateries and plenty of shops.

Interesting and historical place and we'll worth a visit. There is a lovely walk along the river and the Long Mile by Windsor Castle. There are some great shops bars anfrestaurants. We will be returning.
One downside is the expense of parking.

Our visit was primarily to see the castle and we were not disappointed what an incredible castle it is! We loved the tour, the history and the exquisite state rooms. Windsor has everything you need with different areas of the town offering slightly different shopping or dining experiences. Just over the river there are lovely little shops and cafés. We went to Fuzzy Bear for the Saturday night comedy which was a good night, if not a little loud!! The town is incredibly clean and felt very safe. We were blessed with lovely bright, sunny weather, although cold and crisp and loved walking around the streets with the castle in view, no matter where you were, we would definitely go again.

Windsor is a huge tourist destination, so it is busy, restaurants are expensive, although there is plenty of choice.
Beware the cost of parking in the centre, absolute 'rip off', better to travel around on public transport unless your hotel is in city centre and provides car parking.
Trips to Windsor castle and the ' long walk' are must things to do.
Quiet area with a lovely big back garden. Excellent value for money. We brought our children to visit Lapland UK and this house is conveniently located around 15 minutes drive away. Comfortable, clean and fully equipped. Host was very helpful and it’s been a lovely private stay, just let ourselves in with the key code and we’re now preparing to leave. We would usually stay in a hotel but we found this option not only cheaper but so much better for our family having a full house and a large garden. We would 100% visit again! Xx
The hotel did not serve breakfast but recommended some places in Windsor. The room was good and clean. It was located at the other end of town but it took only 10-15 minutes to get to where the Castle is. Quite a lot of shops, pubs and cafes to choose from. There is a Chinese call 1623 (or something like that) which was amazing. The hotel is actually a pub - and is a very friendly one. The guy let me sample some of the beers and I enjoyed a pint in there before heading off to look around.
Self catering , a lovely home for a few days and exactly what we needed for my older brother who joined us and close to our other relatives in Windsor . Parking would be better if we could have had two spots. Many modern facilities and far more comfortable than in and out of hotel rooms. Very clean and functional for a family or two couple . Easy walk unto Windsor. Always great to have a washing machine and laundry facilities on hand when travelling.
Convenient location to Windsor Castle. The room and bathroom are spacious for 2 people. There were nice touches like complimentary water bottles and the room was very clean. Marius provided detailed instructions for check in and check out. We were able to store our luggage here after checkout too with prior notice. I would definitely stay here again.
The food was really good at the Carvery. A generous complimentary breakfast and dinner the night before was very reasonable. The bus to Windsor old town/castle was right outside the hotel and very convenient. We'd like to give a special shut out to Tina, the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and went beyond her duties to help us out!
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, with ensuite shower and toilet and a large screen TV.
The lounge was very nice and the facilities, such as tea, coffee, microwave and toaster, very good.
The location was excellent with the Castle and Theatre just ten minutes walk away and a large car park at the rear of the hotel.
The apartment is very comfortable, a very comfortable bed in the bedroom, there is even a USB cable next to the bed. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I was on a business trip and it was much more convenient and comfortable than staying at a hotel.
The most friendliest greeting when we arrived, very helpful receptionist. Perfect location for the castle.
Would 100% recommend this hotel if you were visiting Windsor.
Lovely size room with air con.
Restaurant and bar had a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff.
Typical chain hotel, met our needs for an overnight stay before early morning flight from Heathrow. Parking was plenty and reasonably priced for the area. Food offered in bar/diner was fine, lovely serving staff though, a credit to the hotel.
The room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom. Good location next to/above a pub and short walk to Windsor Castle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Market and restaurants are nearby.
The location is amazing. The Hotel agreed to keep our bass for 10 days before we arrived as we traveled around England and Ireland - which was incredible service and very convenient. The staff were nice and welcoming.
Was a great location and a nice place to stay, all were helpful and friendly and would highly recommend staying in this hotel if you are planning a trip to Windsor, highly recommended
The location is excellent for the castle, theatre and other attractions. Hotel is superb excellent views of the Thames, staff were brilliant as was the breakfast.
