location was close to town, Breakfast was lovely, great choices. fresh milk available to have with a cuppa in the room. period features still apparent in the house. Staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful
Lovely, warm welcome, made to feel comfortable, nothing too much trouble! Would def stay here again :)
lovely welcome and well looked after. great breakfast options....would highly recommend "eggs 139". Free wifi and parking and close to city centre.
I would have liked a dinner option and hope they offer this in the future.
139 is very well run and offers a premium experience. We liked it all, but particularily the beautifully prepared generous breakfasts and friendly helpful staff.
The turn off Wells Road.... Room was a bit small for a king size bed - but this is obviously personal preference... Closet space a bit small for overseas travelles with luggage.
Friendliness of staff - always willing to help and always a smile! Quality of food - a wonderful choice for breakfast which was all well prepared and presented. Quality of cleaning - the room was spotless and the fixtures and fittings up to date.
Although there is lots to recommend it, there is a steep walk back up the hill at the end of the day to reach your destination.
Excellent care by the owners for our needs . Breakfast is fabulous. Our room was large with modern bath, great in all aspects
We didn't bring a car so you needed to do a 10 minute walk up a big hill to return from town-if you didn't want to bother with a taxi.
staff, breakfast and downhill walk to city center.
dirty remote controls, bathtub didn't work and uphill walk back to One Three Nine.
Everything above expectations: staff, rooms, breakfast. We greatly enjoyed our stay at 139. It's a perfect solution instead of a standard hotel.
Operators were extremely helpful and friendly. Still a considerable amount of privacy. Great location and building was extremely well renovated.
The staff were very friendly, the room was lovely and the breakfast amazing!
Everything, especially the top notch breakfasts
We were visiting Bath Thermae Spa, so this hotel was well located. It's up the hill, but only 15mins walk to the city. We also had parking included, so it was ideal. Staff really friendly and accommodating. They also have a selection of DVDs you can just borrow for your room without asking - some new films too. Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom, which is a lovely touch.
No complaints at all.
The whole experience was outstanding. The very best in small business management.
Excellent welcome Tea and cake Lovely room and spa bath Great breakfast choice Would go back
Loved hotel but walking up the hill to find hotel a bit steep for me So got taxi Didn't realise Bath was so hilly but lovely views from hotel
-located along the hill slope.About 10 minutes walk to city center where the major attractions such as Roman Baths is. -Welcoming B&B with friendly owners, staff -Beautiful decorated house -Parking space in front of the House -Cooked to order breakfasts were delicious, and had great choices.
-The room we stayed took a few turns and stairs to reach. So for people with mobility issue, may request ground room. -Not too comfortable with floor carpet, though understood that carpeted floor tend to look old over time.
Everything was first class. This is the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Excellent customer service. Thank you for accommodating our early departure.
Nothing. It was faultless.
Everything. Nothing was to much trouble. Basically ask and it will be done from fresh milk for coffee to ice for drinks. Breakfasts were excellent and staff could not be more accommodating. Location is a short walk from town and restaurants.
friendly atmosphere , felt welcomed, a lovely place to stay and within walking distance of everything.
Perfection in every way.
The Hotel was wonderful, there was a warm welcome on arrival. We were made to feel special during our stay and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent, first class service. Lovely Bedroom! Will be returning.
This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in .I highly recomend this hotel . Little walk down into town, as it is on a hill so the walk back up after siteseeing is a little hard if your not so mobile
Amazing B&B the staff could not do more for their guests. They are very welcoming and the bedrooms are very comfortable and of a high standard with air conditioning, heated towel rails and flooring. It is a good location for walking into Bath centre in about 10 minutes. We will be going back again.
Just a great place and fabulous hosts. Would recommend to any one.
Great room, excellent breakfasts and all the staff were first class. A very relaxing and comfortable stay.
The breakfast was amazing. The staff was excellent. The property is beautiful. A 5 pound cab ride from the train station.
The room was on the small side.
