Air conditioning meant there was no need to open the window to the traffic noise. The room was kept spotless. Numerous bus and tube routes nearby. Being told on the phone that there was a lift when there clearly is not.

We obteined upgrade, so our room was large enough for a cot and we had not to pay more for it. Our friends wasn't so luky. Their room was small and mattress dirty. Hotel is ideal to visit the city; very close to the baker street tube station, regent park, Oxford street and the most famous streets for shopping. Our room was at second floor, not advised for old people or if you have heavy baggage and a baby.. Toilet is very small but, for this target, clean and in efficiency I can say that it's perfect, for three or four days.

Close to public transportation Receptionist was only available 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, making it difficult to arrange time to talk w/ the staff wasting day time, which was more useful for sightseeing.

The location is convenient as it is not too far to go to the city center and the environment is good too. It is easy to find food and restaurants nearby. The room is clean and have all the necessary facilities. Should the hotel provide a tray by the wash-basin so that we can dry all the dishes easily. In the shower section, should have a small tray to put all the things we need for shower; otherwise we have to situp and down to get things several times, which is not good for aged people.

The staff was very nice. The room was clean and had the facilities one would expect for the money. The kitchen area was large enough so advertising "apartment suite" did not seem the as unwarented as it often does. The WIfi was unrealiable.

The location was perfect as was the price. Very comfortable for the size. Two chairs would have been nice so we could both sit at the table for breakfast.

Within London standards, 146 Suites had a superb value for money. The room had everything one may need for a short stay. It was recently renovated, and had small luxuries (like Grohe showers:) ), everything was clean and daily taken care of. The location was superb, just a few minutes to Baker Street Tube. Compared to a the misery one would suffer in other 3 star, relatively budget-friendly central locations (usually dirty, very very uncomfortable beds, bathrooms that are 100 years old and possibly malfunctioning...), this place was great with all the basics. Do not expect luxury though... The hotel admin was also responsive to mails, and helpful The reception works only 10:00-18:00. At other times, the service is given by another hotel 10 min away. The staff there do not have any idea, and are hard to communicate with (one of them had such a poor English, that she could not replace my door keys and provide an invoice...).

Close to Baker Street tube and Madam Tussauds. Quiet, comfortable small studio room style. Suitable for self catering. Local English pubs, resturants and food shops near by.

There are only two things that l would say that where possitive 1. Location 2. Staff were friendly and help where they could. The bedding in the place was a disgrace. Dead flat and old pillows, not enough of it. Although the cleaners came through every day, they didn't clean the showers properly. Mild and bath scum on the floor. When we booked it wasn't made clear that there was no lift, we had six flights of stairs to walk up with all our bags. The door to the apartment was on the edge of the steep stairs and it was very dangerous. But more than all I am going to email you photos of the state of the matresses that people who stay here are expected to sleep on. The only thing that warrants the stars you give this place is the location and that's all. I won't be recommending at all unless the standard is improved. Please confirm you have received the photos. Thank you This place is NOT five stars, it would only get this for location that's all

Close to railway station and well located for central London. Manager obliging and helpful. Relatively cheap for London but standard of communal areas, room and furniture reflects this. Overall in need of smartening up. No proper reception - normally no facility to leave bag after checkout at 10 am although manager agreed to keep for us up till 5 pm. Shower room clean but very cramped - a large person would struggle to sit on the loo! No tea towel for drying dishes.

Great location, minutes away from Baker Street. Poor service; receptionist was only available till 6pm. I was given a long speech about what happens if I lose my key on checking in, not the best welcome. No where to store luggage, which is very inconvenient if you have an evening/night flight and check out at 12pm. Rooms are basic, and the walls very thin! Heard clanking from the water system throughout the night.

Well presented Clean and bright Good shower Good location Kitchen minimally equipped eg only one pan (a frying pan) Picking up key not clever arrangement - instructions say after six go to hotel ten minutes walk away but was told when arriving at half six that reception still open so no need it have had extra ten minutes there and ten minutes back with luggage diversion to collect keys

I liked being on the ground level. Everything in the room that I tried to use worked well. The place was clean and bright. It was good having the refrigerator and small appliances. I liked the mirror. It was very nice altogether. The mattress being flush with the bed frame meant it was sometimes painful getting in and out of bed. Nothing at the entrance indicated it was 146 Suites.
