The friendliness of Staff We stayed in an executive ground floor room, and discovered that the window would not lock on bringing this problem to the attention of management, we were assured window could not be opened from outside 'this was not the case' However they did put my valuables in safe, but it was a bit of a bind having to ask for bag every time required |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and all areas were in excellent condition with modern decor. The food we ate in ther restaurant was very good. ther was a professional air about the place that is sometimes lacking in todays hotels. |

extremely comfortable beds - clean and decent sized bathroom - room well equipped with iron and ironing board, trouser press, internet access Noise noticeable in room at front of hotel - secondary glazing could help to combat this |

The staff were so friendly, i couldn't fault any of them. No shower gel in the toiletries provided. Not a huge deal, as there was soap but if i had to mention something, that would be it |

A great all round package. OK the rooms aren't that big, but what's wrong with cozy! Parking could be an issue if all rooms are taken but it's the same anywhere in Harrogate. |

The hotels location was excellent within easy reach of the town centre. The view from our room was lovely and the room itself spacious and very comfortable. The play station was a good addition. The Orchid restaurant was very good indeed. The fact I had to climb into the bath to close the blind |

Central position easy access for shopping, they gave us a parking pass for the street if their car park was full. |

Good breakfast, nice dining room, free internet access that worked, free parking albeit limited spaces, good location, quick checkout. Shower looked good but did not work. The slightest adjustment of the control lever and it went from very hot to very cold. Problem is probably due to very different pressures in hot and cold water supply and a poor shower mixer valve. |

The hotel has character and charm. Friendly reception and breakfast waiting staff make all the difference. Lovely bathroom with proper bathtub made up for the tiny room. I liked the fact that there is a small car park behind the hotel - in Harrogate that is a bonus! Good Asian food from restaurant downstairs was brought up very speedily to my room. My room was really small! To be fair it was advertised as a 'small double' but I wouldn't have liked to have been with my other half. |

The meal was fantastic, breakfast was lovely, service was brilliant. Bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke, didn't have another room to move us too, only cheaper one. Batteries in the mac mini keyboard disn't work and she forgot to bring it back until the moring, when I asked her for a replacement for the second time |

We stayed in the suite which was well furnished and comfortable. They are already using the low energy bulbs which take some time to get to a decent light and therefore the room is very dark and dismal on arrival. |

The location was central, the orchid restaurant was excellent quality and value. Breakfast was good, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking in the hotel and surrounding streets was poor though a permit was available from the hotel which meant that once we did find a space parking was free. |
