17 Wilmington Square

Everything about our stay at 17 Wilmington Square was superb.The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the room was very spacious and comfortable although the bed was a little hard and the breakfast was exceptional.We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends and look forward to returning in the future ourselves.

A very comfortable place to stay at a very reasonable price, in a great location for Eastbourne's theatres and seafront. The proprietors and staff could not have done more to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

The ambiance, the helpfulness of the owner, the breakfasts, proximity to beach, town centre and public transport.

It was very comfortable and relaxed. The breakfast was particularly good with lovely fresh fruit and excellent cooked food, good quality and well prepared.

Fantastic quality - good sized room with great facilities. Great location -near the seafront but within walking distance of the town and station. Really good breakfast and very friendly and efficient hosts. I will definitely book again.

The welcome was warm and friendly, very helpful. The room was pretty, clean and comfortable. The view was amazing! Breakfast was superb.

The only negative was the shower. We were on the very top floor, 60 stairs up! I counted, so the pressure was probably at it's poorest. I would like to see the bathroom and especially the shower updated.

weren't doing cooked breakfasts on our stay, we were told that it was "continental", it was actually english minus the cooked bit.

The staff was amazing - between being very attentive to our needs and making sure we had what we needed for breakfast. The place felt like home.

Found the staff to be very friendly n helpful. Although I arrived at the hotel over 2hrs later than expected, the hotel made sure there was someone waiting for me to give me the key n settle the balance. Found All members of staff very friendly n helpful!!! Also found the room to be very clean n beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend anyone to staying at this hotel. Sam

Only there for 1 night to go to a show. The Owner as friendly and helpfuul and everything was as good as earlier favourable reviews had said.

Family run hotel that made you feel extremely welcome, Lovely breakfasts,room very clean and tidy and good size. Location excellent for Seafront.

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who gave us an upgrade to a lovely room, and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.

The friendly staff, the staff were so helpfully. We had bed and breakfast plenty to eat and the food was excellent. We were close to the beach and a short walk into the town. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would stay again.

I personally feel that on the ground and first floor that the bathrooms could be fitted with shower cubicals as my father who is 82 could not get into the bath were the shower was. I should have rung the B&B first to find out where the twin rooms were (not the hotels fault) but the room I had was nearly at the top of the house and I found it difficult to climb the stairs, maybe when people book there could be some way to see what rooms the floors were on.

I wanted a peaceful and comfortable 3 night break and that's exactly what I got. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty and my room was spacious and spotlessly clean.

Beautiful renovation - classy decor and really comfortable. The owners were delightful and very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely including the homemade marmalade! Really good position with an excellent Italian restaurant - Rosetti's - just around the corner. Would recommend without reservation.
