Room was decent size and well-appointed

Location, access to tube and amenities in the area.

Noise. Bishopsgate is a busy road in central London and the bedroom faced the road with little noise insulation. Didn't sleep well.

Although this type of accommodation is not for everyone, personally I think it is the future for travellers who want flexibility. This statement could be my downfall, as the more I say how good it is could go against me when I want to re-book and I find there are 'no rooms at the inn' because everyone has cottoned on.

Needs coat hooks in hallway and some hooks in the bathroom for washbags and dressing gown

Very well furnished appartments, had everything we needed.

Beds too small and quite hard. Wooden floors are lovely but very noisy - especially when people are arriving/ leaving in the early hours.

The apartments where superb, clean, tidy and very spacious. Ideally situated for our requirements.

Our fellow guests experienced considerable noise from an adjourning room on the night of our stay, but apart from that the apartments where faultless.

The location, the cleanliness, the facilities were great. The little touches were great, tea, coffee, milk, the dressing gowns

Central location, roomy bedrooms, good kitchen and living area.

Noisy location (but then it's central London so you'd expect this), one lift in the place so it can be long waits if you've got bags etc.

if i have to find a fault there was only 1 bathroom however we all enjoyed our stay and will definately using196 bishops gate again

The apartment was very modern, very comfortable, and very clean and well serviced. Its location next to Liverpool Street Station makes it ideal for getting around London. The staff was very helpful in taking care of ticket deliveries for me and I had a small maintenance issue that was resloved promptly. Highly recommended.

Quirky little boutique style serviced apartments. Ideal location if you are in the Liverpool St area.More personal than a hotel room. It would be good if you had an extended stay.

A little bit noisy. But then you are staying in the centre of the City and I am yet to find a hotel where you dont hear other noise at night. Not enough of a problem for me not to come back

The location is perfect for sight-seeing; you can see 196 from Liverpool St Station! The staff on the reception desk are fantastic. The apartments are really well equipped, particularly in the kitchen. Fantastic to have such space in central London. No traffic noise in rooms on the back of the building.

The pub next door had a very noisy delivery at 6am which lasted almost an hour. It was so loud we thought there was building work above us. The reception staff said that this was a regular thing. Our first room had a spot light over the shower. When the room above used their shower, water poured through the light fitting into our shower. This had clearly happened before as there was rust on the the light fitting, and other areas of water damage. However, the staff moved us to another room without any question. That said, we were told that the problem had been fixed, but they wouldn't run the shower in the room above to reassure us, so I suspect it hadn't really been fixed. Also, we were only away from our room for an hour which I'm sure isn't long enough for maintenance to arrive on site, strip the shower tray, reseal pipes, etc. Despite using the do not disturb door hanger, we returned to find the maid in our room. We'd brought lunch and asked if she'd mind coming back once we'd eaten. She was moody to say the least.

Location , staff very friendly , room exceptionally clean.

Rooms lack comfort -bed ok but no more ! Price is quite high for the lack of comfort.

When I'm in London for business, it's usually for a week, and having a small apartment is much nicer than a tiny hotel room. Even though I do not use the kitchen much, it makes the room feel larger.

I did have problems with the heat in my room not working the 1st night. It was fixed by the 2nd night, but was off again on my last night.

Perfect! 196 Bishopsgate is in an ideal location for a night out in Shoreditch. The price was extrememly reasonable when four of us were sharing. The apartment is modern and has everything you need for a weekend stay. I shall definitely be booking up again when I'm not up for the last train home.

Location to my business activities, tube and central London

The studio apt was too small, I will request 1 bedroom flat next time.

The location was fantastic, right in the center of the City. Stepping out of the door you are right opposite Liverpool Street Station and 2 minutes from Spitalfields Market.
