City centre location and pleasant staff The first room we were offered smelt dreadfully of cigarettes, though we were immediately offered an alternative (adjacent) and satisfactory room. The next people in were offered the same smelly room with no attempt to clean it first. |

The breakfast was really good We were a little put out that upon our return to the hotel @ midnight we were unable to sit & enjoy a drink in the bar because it was full of children! |

On the second morning of our stay we were woken by drilling and hammering in neighbouring rooms which went on for hours. No chance of a lie in. It was very annoying. |

Front of House staff helpfull..moved us to another room . As stated above we marked room cleanliness as poor. The issue was the smell of stale smoke both in the room and the corridor obviouslly previously smoking rooms. The room we were moved to on the second night was refurbished and far superior and we understand all rooms being refurbished eventually. |

Staff were very friendly and hotel is quite centrally located in. I had ordered 5 rooms with 2 people each. The hotel only had double rooms where we had required twins. |

The convienience of being in the City Centre. I also liked the fact that I could just turn up and pay for breakfast and that the check out time was noon. I think they should provide a veggie option on the breakfast though I.E. saugages and mushrooms etc. |

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was in an excellent position for the city centre and for transport to other sites. The number one thing about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff on reception. There was one member of staff in particular that couldn't do enough for us to make our stay as excellent as it could be. Also had dinner in the restaurant twice during our stay, which was lovely and enjoyed a few quiet drinks in the bar which had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Would use this hotel again when we decide to go for another break in manchester. The only down side to the stay was that we got a corner room in the hotel which are slightly smaller than the other rooms. Although the room was still very comfortable and clean. |
