Staff were very pleasant, hotel and room were clean. Lovely ambience in the bar. We stayed in the 10th floor and had a super view down the river. Brilliant location for shopping, eating etc. An overall good experience. |

Ideal location for what we were wanting to do and hotel was clean and tidy. Requested at reception where I could park. They gave me directions which I followed. When I went to get my ticket stamped by them the next day they advised I wasn't in their carpark. Their carpark was 50 yards across the road, never advised of this, yet their directions took me past another carpark which I came across first and therefore parked in that. Not impressed. |

Efficient check in - rooms were beautifully clean and warm - important in November. Close to the station which cut out taxi fares. Fab view of the river - close to the main shopping and eating areas. Staff were friendly but not too much. |

Friendly atmosphere, clean and tidy. Quite a bit of noise during the night as it's very close to the railway line. Trains ran late into the night and started early in the morning. |

The friendliness of the staff. The Phillipino barman was very congenial. And he really knows his cocktails. Well, just that someone must have been smoking in their non-smoking room. I could smell it down the corridor in the mornings. |

Good central location. £7.50 for breakfast was not too bad. I would not have paid the previous asking price. Receptionists attentive and polite. Our room rate was acceptable but the rate of £160 per night (Rising to £180 during our visit) that was posted behind Reception is not good value. The air conditioning was noisy. Leaving the window open as an alternative to the a/c was not an option due to the noise of the wind and nearby trains. The shaver socket did not function and remained u/s even after having reported it to reception the morning after our arrival. |
