Location, size of room for London standards
Noise from elevator and water pump
great location and well equipped kitchenette
The location was good. The receptionist on arrival was pleasant & responsive.
The first room we were shown was too small for two people. This needs to be made into a single room. Decor was in poor condition, dampness evident. Mold in the shower. Cooking amenities poor. We were relocated to a larger room which was better. However the room still had dampness showing on walls. Decor in poor repair. Furniture old and in poor condition for both rooms. Beds were not made up correctly, no blanket on top of mattress, just a bare sheet. Heating not well controlled even though programmable control mounted on wall it wasn't controlling the room temperature/heat input. Adjust outlet valve on radiator to control temperature. Bathrooms too small to be comfortable. Nicely finished but tiny. Shower head incorrectly installed, minor point. Elevator close by was very noisy. Building entrance door in need of repair and repainting. Somewhat run down building. Asking for payment up front is never a good omen that the owner has confidence in his business to provide quality service and facilities.
Location very convenient for local sights and travelling around the centre. Good local pubs and restaurants. Good shower and compact kitchen fine for making tea. Bedding and linen all clean.
We had a 3 person studio which was only big enough for a double occupancy and layout was obviously originally just a doubles as plug sockets and bedside table not adjacent to the bed as not enough room. There was a double bed and a single bed with approx. 6inches in the middle and little space to manoeuvre in and out of the beds - this was not clear from the photos. The location was quite noisy, internally from pipes and noises from other rooms and also from external activity - the windows almost seemed to be open. Would benefit from double glazing. Almost £300 for 2 nights was high considering the accommodation. Beds did not have mattress covers.
Wifi was free which is a big bonus
Very small room but then everything in London is.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful
Broken shower door Broken microwave Broken air conditioning Uncomfortable pillows that gave me a sore neck Room too small 'Kitchen' too cramped to be usable
Never got a remote for the TV. No internet for a day, staff no help. Staff next day made it work right away. Carpet nasty.
Shabby and only partly finished
the location is good
The air-condition in our room is not working and no technician is coming to fix it nor they don't have any portable fan. The bathroom slide door also damage and it seem to be not a recently damage
excellent value for money, good location, clean and tidy.
some rooms a little small but for £90 per couple, not really an issue.
clean, handy little kitchen, nice shower, central location, good value.
The check in staff could be a little friendlier, and the chick in are could be a little less cluttered, and a nicely painted front door with a modern lock would make the entrance way a little more inviting.
We loved how close the hotel was to everything. It was our first time and London and we were able to walk two minutes to a stop for the Red Bus Tour, 15 minutes to Oxford Circus, and not to mention we were right next to Kensington Gardens/Hyde park. The hotel had great air conditioning/heat, comfortable beds, as well as a nice clean bathroom. The front desk staff was very helpful in printing documents out for us and calling a cab to the hotel for airport transport.
We knew London would be expensive but WOW this seemed like a lot to pay for a hotel. (We were there in peak holiday season) We also experienced a lot of trouble with our smoke alarm. I took a longer hot shower and then steam set the alarm off and pretty much alerted the entire hotel. This happened twice for different reasons.
The hotel is centrally located; near the tube and Hyde park. Was quite a hot day and the air con was powerful and worked well.
The condition of the room was very old, tired and not well maintained. There was water leaking from the ceiling in the middle of the night. The wifi which was supposed to be available to all guests, was not working, probably because my room was in the basement. The safe also can't be used. In addition, the shower head was faulty. Totally not worth the money paid for.
Location, value for money, facilities
Size of the room (we were a party of four in two rooms - one was of the right size the other, very tiny, yet both cost the same). A bit more thought in design and provision of kitchen facilities could have made it 'excellent.'
The location is good. It is easy to travel to and from central London. The staff were helpful. It was basic but practical for a short city break.
The wardrobe mirror was smashed and the shower door was broken and the room was smaller than expected.
The room we were given was so small there was barely enough room to move around the bed,on arrival the shower did not work, the elevator failed on day two and was out for a week, on day three no water at all out of the hot taps, we were then moved to a slightly better room but the toilet was falling off the wall and so was the shower head and to top it off the staff would run up and down the stairs outside our window every second day at about 6AM. Apart from that it was fine.
Poorly maintained (hair dryer didn't work, some o/h lights didn't work, fan in bathroom didn't work, fridge noisy, paintwork peeling and grubby, carpet a bit grubby, furniture needed replacing).
The location was perfect. It was perfectly clean and the staff members were very nice. There was much space in the room and the bathroom. I found the place very convenient and the housekeeping was excellent. I will come again and recommend the place.

The hairdryer was bad. It's the only negative point I can think of.
The good location
I have stayed here several times, it all depends on the room. But bed linen and bathrooms have always been clean although the rest tired looking. Location good for transport links. Fridge and self catering gives good alternative to eating out. Windows open.
Poor room this time. S4 looks in to an internal concrete square. Kitchen extractor fans blow in to it so room smells of cooked food. Wifi dreadful, signal so poor I could not log on for more than 5 minutes (if I could get on to begin with) before signal dropped Pigeons nesting under fans noisy and dirty..
Good hotel. First of all it is privacy. I was living in separate room with kitchen and bath and I had seen my neighobours ones per three days. All necessary items are in room. Good, fast internet. Everyday cleaning. Good district, there are a lot of shops, bars around. I am really happy with this hotel. My best recommandation.
Standard of room poor. Very tired looking and in need of attention.
