Location is handy for west end. Plenty of options near by for restaurants / supermarkets Room was very basic. Table was a piece of wood on a hinge which declined at a 15 degree angle from a wall. didn't bother trying to use it. Bathroom was shabby.

The noise in this hotel is unbearable. The water system works off a pump and every time somebody runs a tap, flushes a toilet or takes a shower, a really loud noise happens. It is constant and very intrusive. The management must know about this. They should not be allowed to rent out rooms next to the system. It is impossible to relax, it sounds like somebody is turning a hairdryer on in the corner of the room, every 5 minutes. Do not stay at this hotel. I barely slept a wink. Very angry.

The staff was helpful. The room was clean. The room was too small for 3 people. The kitchen was in the built-in closet. There were only 2 chairs.

Location is perfect. Right on the central line. Nice park across the road. Found the staff not very friendly upon arrival or checkout. Did speak to a guy during the week about the heat and hot water not working, he was very apologetic and said it was getting fixed, but the two women we encountered first and last were not very friendly. Also it should state on the booking website that when you book more than ten nights they need a deposit with a creditcard photocopy and to fill out a form. Was very inconvienient getting an email about it while I was travelling and trying to find a photocopyier and a scanner ect. Should be stated when you first book.

The room I stayed in was very clean and well presented. I wasn't expecting towels and toiletries which was great. The little kitchen area was very good and compact. Bathroom again was very clean and compact, had everything I needed for a night's stay. The location was brilliant, right around the corner from the tube and all the shops. I only came across one member of staff, Roxanna, who was very helpful and courteous. There was no access by lift to floor four where I was staying so I had to carry a heavy bag up and down the stairs.

Contrary to negative comments by other reviewers I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was smooth, looking after my bag before checkin time great, replacing a lost keycard no problem, fixing iron without a fuss. Room was very clean and quite spacious. Minor niggle - bed matress was uncomfortable/cheap, so had to lie on my coat to get get some sleep. The lift did not always work but that was not a problem for me.

Kitchenet The hotel blocked the fare for the first night without warning me a week in adwance. I think it should be written somewhere in the rooles of booking. Just to make the bookers aware.

Very nice place to stay especially for the family group. So close to the hyde park, underground stations, groceries shop, souvenir shops, several halal food restaurants (for muslim) and the city centre. The elevator has a little bit of problem. Need to check the elevator electronic system especially the button. For emergency case, no telephone no to contact inside the elevator.

Good location. Decent rooms for the price Absolutely horrible service! All the front desk ppl were rude and totally unfriendly. When I checked in, my room did not have a duvet and when I went down to complain, the woman acted like she was doing me a favour by giving me one!! Stay here ONLY if you want a convenient roof over your head not if you want any kind of help/support from the staff

The bathroom was clean The room was really tiny. The mattress was hard and squeaked a lot . the lift did not stop at the fourth floor so we had to either go to the third or fifth and use the stairs. There was not enough storage space.

Good position near Hyde Park. Hotel is run by foreigners unable to speak good English. The linen, furnishings, carpets, crockery and cutlery were tatty. We felt we paid too much for the below average standard of accomodation.

Close to two underground stations, Baywater and Queenway Station. It is convenient with many restaurants and small supermarts nearby. Becareful that the room price quoted is without 20% vat and they charged additional 2% for use of credit card??? Hotel insisted you must pay in full even if you are not happy with the room or the mode of payment. Hotel Building is elegant but the room is not as modern or stylish as claimed. The hotel small little elevator seemed prone to breakdown.

Good for stay when you are having a business trip of even a family trip. It is very close to two metro stations (Queensborough and Bayswater). The place is very lively with tourists buzzing around. Access to cheap indian, malaysian and chinese buffets. I was booked for 3 days. Hotel staff refused the possibility to cancel the last day and insisted that I pay for all three days. This is against the rules. And the person at the desk refused to listen and was rude, threatening to charge my card for one day and refusing reservation.

“Bayswater is such a convenient area for so many things to visit, we thought that the suites were very good value for money. However we would especially like to comment on the reception staff. A lady and a young man ( the lady was on duty when we arrived on Thursday and both were on duty on Saturday afternoon when we returned to pick up our cases. They couldn't have been MORE HELPFUL and we were very impressed with the service. facilities in the suite were much more than we expected.” Anne, Dymchurch |
